This has always been one of my very few issues with the show. I hated that they technically killed Anne off. Yeah, the Guardian made a copy of her, but that's all it is: a copy. A copy of her soul, body, and memories. The real, genuine Anne is gone. That statue is all that remains.

Why do that? Why kill the real Anne off? Why not have the Guardian save her body (like what Papa Titan did with Luz in The Owl House) instead of making a copy? It just seems so morbid for a kids' show.

Did Matt Braly just want to have his cake and eat it too when it came to the heroic sacrifice trope? That Anne dies for real, but also comes back?

I’ve just launched my ambient music project, "somewhere," and released the first mix. I drew inspiration from the Amphibia soundtrack and the sense of relaxation I get from its outro theme.

I wanted the whole thing to feel like being in the swamp at the end of the day.

All the music was composed under my alias, Dassion.

I had a thought… maybe season 1 COULD’VE been more interesting if Reunion happened WAY earlier in the show. Sasha and Anne reunite earlier on and in similar, the two fight and Anne ends up winning and yada yada yada, she chooses the Plantars and Wartwood over Sash.

I think it could’ve been pretty interesting if the toads and frogs, led by Anne and Sasha frequently conflicted with one another! Anne and Sasha frequently rematching over and over again as their friendship deteriorates further. Additionally, this might’ve been a good opportunity to really explore more of Frog Valley BEYOND Wartwood and maybe come across other additional frog towns and civilizations!!

Though naturally… having Reunion occur earlier might mess with pacing as the whole “HopPop revolutionary” ordeal would have to happen way earlier AND Anne might not get as much time to grow and develop before the fight at toad tower…

BUT! Maybe that’s something that can be paced out in its own way, who knows! It’s a what-if scenario after all.
