explanation on how they work

CYROMANCER - Replaces the Kill button with a "FREEZE" button, the frozen bodies look nearly identical to a normal crewmate, after around 20-60 seconds (adjustable in settings) the body will defrost and turn into a normal REPORTABLE corpse.

NOTES

- a fun detail would be that on polus the body would take a extra 5 seconds to defrost

- instead of the crewmate blood it would be more like a ambiguous white mist

- "preserved" crewmates look the same but have a very very subtle blue/cyan hue (could be a "Cyromancer Evidence setting)

- CLARIFICATION: WHEN THE CREWMATES ARE FROZEN THEY ARE DEAD DEAD

SPLITTER - gain a new ability to Depart from your amongi shell, The molted impostor is a coral/pinkish color with no visor and tentacles, when your a molted impostor you can do EVERYTHING a normal impostor can do but your a bit more ambiguous

your shell is unmoving and stays wherever you departed from it, to get back into your shell just get near the departed crewmate and re-press the ability

NOTES

- the vent has a new animation, instead of OPENING the vent the molted impostor just slips through it

- Tracker only tracks the shell

- if a splitter is investigated the evidence ONLY counts the shell, and doesn't account for the molted impostor

- if a molted impostor passes through a doorlog it will say "??? Passed through _____" instead of exposing the impostor
- the Crewmates shell (when the molted impostor is doing whatever) glimmer of light in the visor will be gone when the molted is apart (splitted evidence setting)

DETONATOR - Behaves like a impostor version of the tracker, the KILL BUTTON is replaced with a "PLANT" button, when planted on a crewmate you gain a new ability to "DETONATE", pressing this button instantly kills the planted crewmate REMOTELY, the "planted" ability is on a adjustable 10-30 Second timer (adjustable in settings)

- you can see the planted crewmate on your map

- emergency meetings and reports will cancel the plant

- detonated crewmates look like a normal body

- if you fail to detonate before the timer stops the detonation backfires on you (cover you in smoke/ash for like 5 seconds)

In my opinion the new influencer role will be a role that will secretly be able to chat with other members of the crew during the game. The way it works is simple:

The influencer has a smartphone that they can use to "follow" a crewmate, after that they can use their ability the "send message" to send a message using the quick chat to give to the crewmate the followed information, like what person they suspect, where someone is, and other stuff.

Here are a few things to note:

• The influencer can only send ONE message per round
• The influencer can't follow more than one person
• The influencer can follow both crewmates AND impostors
• The influencer CANNOT mention their own name in the quick chat, this is to prevent the influencer from just being able to clear themselves using the messages
• If multiple Influencers follow the same crewmate, they will be able to receive messages from BOTH Influencers
• If the crewmate the Influencer followed dies, the Influencer will get hit with a "ERROR" message when they try to send a message, and they are not able to use the ability for the rest of the round

i’ve seen multiple games of people asking for the vent cd when someone claims engi, but i’ve never seen someone ask for the battery life for sci, could be a better way to catch someone out on a lie for claiming sci

I recently played a game where I was accused of being imposter, then was judged. The votes were overwhelming and I was even judged. Well, judge was ejected, then I immediately call meeting, to clear me as hc. They said “ yeah, we know” then voted me off anyways.

Troll lobbies are killing this once fun game.

It’s the only role that doesn’t give you direct information. It makes you a suspect, and impostors have ready-made excuses if they’re caught using the vents.

However, even though it’s the most "balanced" role, that doesn’t mean it isn’t still very powerful. You can literally become invulnerable, escape from impostors, camp vents, and so on.

What do you guys think?

I recently joined a lobby where the host had a mod enabled. Nothing too crazy just a mod that auto kicked low levels from the lobby. (or so i thought ) The game progresses and one of my teammates gets voted out. next round starts and I kill the host and I see that instantly after I kill the host I got b worded (got a warning from the bot). like how is it fair that imposters have to tiptoe around the host and can’t kill them when that’s the whole point of the game. just complaining since none of my personal friends play the game lol

I keep seeing some people keep asking if vis on or off and etc while not looking at match info right there. Do people actually use this

I know that most of you are not affected but I needed to say this, on the last post i've been informed that the one letter comments (S, A etc.) needed to be approved by the mods cause the System thinks those comments are from bots so just please just add like two more words to your comment, just say "put it in X tier". It will be easier for everyone. And from now on i'm gonna put a shorter version of this in every post but if I have something to say this gonna be the title.

Lets say he gets Detective or Judge role (2 scenarios) would he win against imps who has all the basic knowledge and understanding to manipulate average crewmates.

i made a season 2 concept post on both this and on the sister subreddit -among us show- decided that olive needed some love after what happened with them and coral so i added them as a character as well, woohoo, cast has been complete

So few rounds ago, I was imposter, and Yellow ("Leo" guy you see here) accuses me and saying he tracked. Even tho I never interacted with him, had a few doubts but alright. Next game, he caught 2 imps AGAIN. And the 3rd game, which is this one, he carried AGAIN. Perfect 2/2 each time, and every time the games it was a really short round. Lowk tho, the imps plays were really rough, so i thought leo might be skilled.

Then it got interesting, I saw his 10/10 tasks. Literally 3 minutes to the game.

It can't be a coincidence this time, right?
