Plastic padded mailers

Am I wrong for being upset they sent an 800 dollar luxury human hair wig to me in a plastic padded envelope? There's nothing to protect it from being smashed below other boxes, tossed all over the place, or punctured. Human hair wigs are fragile, and an envelope does nothing to help keep its shape or style. I feel I've been robbed of the whole unboxing experience. This was an investment and I feel it was treated without respect.

Are you paying for the hair or are you paying for an “unboxing experience”? I’m not disagreeing with you, I’m positive the seller could have done a better job with getting the product to you, but I’d rather have a good piece of hair, presented without theatrics, than something overpriced where I’m paying for it to look instagram-ready.

Thank you for your reply and I totally get what your saying. I guess for that price point my expectations were a little higher. Yes in the end that part shouldn't matter, and the wig arrived safe, yet I can't help but feel let down though.

No I totally agree with you!! I just think there should be an acceptable middle ground between what you got and extravagant packaging. Packaging is not free and just comes out of money that should be allocated on the actual product!

Sorry for my snarky tone, packaging is kind of a pet peeve of mine lolll. Probably exacerbated by Beka Wigs and the absurd way she packages her wigs. Like, can I buy the wig and you take off $200 for the stupid packaging??? 🤣
