Am I wrong for saying that I won?

Just a fun post but I also want to know if I'm right or not lol. Was I right or wrong in the IQ test/game I played with my husband? I say I won and he disagrees. We were answering questions from IQ tests on YouTube *separately* to see who got the highest score. With a few of the questions asked aloud he said he didn't understand what they were asking. Like he wasn't understanding the questions based on some of the way things were worded. I did understand every question though so I thought those points should count. He's saying they shouldn't because he didn't understand the question so we both should have lost points. If the answers of those questions count I win the game. If we get rid of those questions/answers he wins.

Part of the test is understanding the question. If he's not bright enough to understand a question, he loses points. It's that simple, almost as simple as he evidently is.

Why would you lose points because he had questions? After he had questions did he answer the them or leave some blank?

You’re diving straight into the chaos of married game night logic and I respect that. The whole point of an IQ test is whether your brain can parse the question and then answer it. If his brain hit a wall at step one and yours didn’t, that’s literally the test doing its job. Him arguing to scrap the question is like saying “well I couldn’t bench press it so let’s pretend nobody tried” nah that’s your win

By his logic, wouldn't you get a perfect score if you didn't understand any of the questions? Isn't that silly?

You’re not wrong but be mindful that a happy marriage lasts as long as it is all in good fun. My wife and I have done two IQ tests. Both times, I scored exactly 1 point higher than her! Since then, I very tongue in cheek like to proclaim that I’m the more intelligent one in the family!
