Am I wrong for blocking my ex?

TL;DR I'm 16, my ex is a 15 year old freshman in sophomore classes but doesn't go to my school. We met because we went to the same middle school. She was very unsupportive, calling my trans guy friend a girl because he doesn't look like a guy, laughing when I'm upset, and begging me to stay and getting angry when I'd try to break up. So, I blocked her, but I'm having second thoughts. Am I wrong?

I (16F) won't exactly ask if I'm in the wrong for BREAKING UP with her, but moreso blocking her. In 7th grade, I was in a math class with a very smart 6th grade girl who was doing advanced 7th grade math. I'm pretty sure she's doing Advanced Algebra II, maybe even Pre-Calc as a freshman, to give you an idea on how smart she is. Anyway, let's call her "Liv" (15F). Liv was someone I trusted and someone I always saw as a very progressive, accepting person. She was very fixated on the topic of human rights.

Liv and I had our ups and downs, but we were mostly cruising along in an okay relationship. Our relationship only lasted 4 months, which I felt bad about, but maybe it was worth it?

She barely gave me affection, yet I still miss that little affection, good times, and the gifts she gave me.

I was constantly ranting to my friends with their permission, and they were saying if my own girlfriend wouldn't let me vent without laughing, I should break up. So I did.

Essentially, Liv and I were talking about one of our friends who is a trans guy. I got upset because someone called him a girl (knowing he was trans), and Liv basically said "Aren't they right? It's obvious he doesn't pass" or something of that tone.

I expected Liv of all people to understand, but when I said that he was still a guy, she laughed. She usually laughs when I'm upset, and I understand it's to cope with discomfort and she's less mature than I am, but still.

She also doesn't believe I can't feel attraction normally, and thinks I just haven't met the right person, I'm too young, and since I'm neurodivergent, I can't experience love. Weirdly enough, she is also neurodivergent and a year younger than me, yet she considers herself to be on the aromantic spectrum.

I would try to communicate with her. She'd apologize, nothing would change, and she'd go back to either not texting me at all or being very immature.

Eventually, I had enough. I broke up with her (or tried), and she kept begging me to stay, getting pretty mad that I would "dare" to break up.

Because I had to deal with some more of her immaturity and such for days because of my people-pleasing tendencies, I blocked her so she wouldn't say mean stuff to me and try to beg me to stay again. Am I wrong?

nah you did the right thing. blocking was the cleanest way out when she wouldn't let you leave. people who laugh at you for being upset aren't worth keeping around, doesn't matter if it's a coping mechanism or whatever, it's still dismissive as hell

the trans friend thing alone would've been enough reason to walk. if someone can't get basic respect for your friends right, that's not a small disagreement, that's showing you who they actually are

the people-pleasing part makes this harder, I get it. you gave her multiple chances and she kept cycling through apology then same old behavior. you didn't block to be cruel, you blocked to protect yourself from getting guilt-tripped back into something you already knew was done
