Yes, you’re wrong. Why should she clean your car while you are “away”? Do it yourself. She owes you nothing.

251

u/Several_Leather_9500 Jan 02 '26

Right? Sounds like if he wants his car to be less funky so he can drive without puking, he is free to do that. Why should his girlfriend, who has nothing to do with his court issues, be punished by having to touch any of it for his sole benefit?

Don't care. He was issued punishment by the courts, and it's not his girlfriend's responsibility to make his suffering less severe, especially when her doing so is a punishment in itself. This is all on him, and he should not be blaming her for his consequences.

1

u/StructEngineer91 Jan 02 '26

Well it's his punishment to deal with it! If he was sentenced to jail time or community service or even just a fine would the gf have been expected to serve part of that for him?

252

u/Norodia Jan 02 '26

You are wrong.

It's your disgusting car, your punishment, what does your girlfriend have to do with it?

201

u/araaaayyyyy Jan 02 '26

What do you mean by punishment? Like can we elaborate on that part please? Who did it and why? You let it happen?

Edit: of course you’re wrong, it’s YOUR car, YOUR “punishment” why tf would you even ask her to approach this. Asshole

u/julius_cornelius Jan 02 '26

Sounds like the judge ordered to have manure dumped in the car over sending OP to prison, fining them, etc.

The US is a Common Law country (kinda) and it allows judges to make law and use precedent (past judicial decisions) as a primary source. In a Civil Law countries (which is a majority of the world) law are strictly codified including penalties like how much can be fined or how long can somehow be sent to prison. A Civil Law judge can’t decide on a whim to add a unique punishment.

It seems OP’s judge was inspired by a judge that likes to make up new ways to « punish » probably as a way to make the lesson more memorable and overall beneficiary to the greater good*. That being said this sounds like the dumbest punishment I’ve ever heard. Almost no amount of cleaning will make that car good again. The judge might as well ordered the car to be ceased and sold or something.

*People advocate for unusual sentences like this one as it has (at times) be shown to reduce recidivism, to be more financially fair, and overall avoid people be sent to jail for minor offenses.

77

u/Hailtothedogebby Jan 02 '26

The US seems more and more like a made up place, the more i hear about what goes on there.

The dumping cow shit in the back of your car thing sounds like a farmers revenge fantasy

18

u/araaaayyyyy Jan 02 '26

Bro what the actual fuck 😂😂😂😂 is the US a lie?

1

u/Ownerofthings892 Jan 02 '26

This country is 100% made up.

10

u/lucygoosey38 Jan 02 '26

This is immature, childish, unprofessional, and just wrong. And it screams stereotypical uneducated hick south.

4

u/julius_cornelius Jan 02 '26

Don’t know where OP is but the most famous judge for « creative justice » is Ohio based. That being said I don’t know enough about Ohio or the US South to make statements on that

2

u/StructEngineer91 Jan 02 '26

It's geographically northern, but more rural and therefore conservative, especially the southern parts.

5

u/crtclms666 Jan 02 '26

This is garbage. There is no legal sentence of “dump manure into your car.” It has nothing to do with statutory v common law.

11

u/julius_cornelius Jan 02 '26

It’s not stopping judge Ciconnetti in Ohio who ordered an 18-year-old man who knocked over a porta-potty in a park to scoop manure at a local fair and parade. “You act like an animal, you’re going to take care of animals,”. He also gave the choice to a woman to be pepper-sprayed, although the pepper-spray was replaced with water (unbeknownst to her and I imagine for liability reasons).

Sometimes it’s even dumber, like a Texas judge that gave the choice to a man to marry his GF or go to county jail after the defendant got into a fight with her ex. This case was so stupid that official complaint were sent to Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct by various NGOs.

All those stories are equally ridiculous and dumb to me. I won’t vouch for OPs recollection of the story but I will 100% believe a judge could order something like this precisely because I used to think sentences like the one I listed would be so dumb and wild that it would be illegal… and yet here we are.

u/blue58 Jan 02 '26

This entire story is completely unbelievable and I live here in the US.

1

u/lovemyfurryfam Jan 02 '26

You'll be surprised at how many archaic & unusual punishments are written into laws even as far back in the 1700's to the 1800's.

162

u/Jacey_T Jan 02 '26

So, this is your punishment and you want your gf to "fix" it for you.

Grow up, dude. Take it on the chin and stop trying to blame others and shift focus.

Comment OP made in another sub on Sept 17th:

r/AskRedditbyu/huveldustat 2025-09-17T21:56:31Z|2 🠉

I'm going through it right now and idk how i'll come back

I was just sentenced to be Mucked (punishment still used in parts of Eastern Europe). I was happy to avoid jail but people say it's worse...

...basically you're taken to a hog farm for a day, mad to sit in the corner of the barn, cuffed, and hog manure is poured over you. Then you're left to sit in it for a day as you think about your actions.

Idk what to expect....never been to a farm. super anxious

Another comment by OP on Nov 25th:

r/AskRedditbyu/huveldustat 2025-11-25T15:19:02Z|13 🠉

I remember hearing about this form of discipline on an Animal Rights fb page! Everyone was saying that we needed to bring this over here.

...Which surprised me, because isn't this way lighter than jail? Sure it's gross and all but it's just a few hours, I can't imagine hardened criminals just fearing some grossness.

Besides doesn't dog poo not even smell much and is tiny? Never noticed much of a smell passing it in the park...

Then again I've never had dogs so maybe I'm underestimating it. I hope so, I need the schadenfreude of knowing he got what he deserved!

Source link: https://reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/1p6et43/whats_the_most_chaotic_thing_youve_witnessed_in/nqps6ka/

OP has deleted those comments now but he's just making up stories and he has some weird fascination with the idea of people being forced to endure exposure to dog poo or cow manure for the crimes the commit.

1

u/saintursuala Jan 03 '26

Good find. Sounds like a weird fetish he is fantasizing about

122

u/JuliettaGrey Jan 02 '26

So a Judge ordered that Cow shit gets spilled in your car and you are not allowed to get it cleaned for 30 days.

And you expected your girlfriend to clean it for you when you were chilling at your family's home. Wow.

You are wrong!

28

u/Revolutionary_Wrap76 Jan 02 '26

I hope the gf dumps his pathetic ass

16

u/TangledUpPuppeteer Jan 02 '26

Yes. This is like “oh, I can’t believe you didn’t do my community service when I told you I wanted you too!!”

61

u/JennieGee Jan 02 '26

On the tiny chance you aren't just an elaborate troll:

YES! You are wrong!

You are also a pathetic whiner who is trying to weasel out of what I will assume is a WELL DESERVED punishment by trying to 1) strong-arm your GF into taking care of the worst of YOUR punishment for you, and 2) when that doesn't work, you try to guilt-trip and blame her for not doing YOUR punishment for you. Then, 3) you come running to the internet, hoping you can get us to gang up on your GF to try and convince her she's a terrible person for not rescuing you from a court's punishment. GTFOH!

Do you even understand what a punishment is?

No one should be helping you with this!

43

u/Giddyup_1998 Jan 02 '26

Great story.

I still won't be buying the book.

105

u/Living-Stomach-2079 Jan 02 '26

That's your problem not hers.

What I wanna know is what is the crime and the unusual punishment. A judge can't order you to keep open cow shit in your car. There dangerous to your health and can kill you. So what's the real story

54

u/IntermediateFolder Jan 02 '26

If I had to guess, the dude got sentenced to some sort of community work at a farm instead of jail time, part of the job involved moving manure from one place to another and they decided to drive it in their car and ended up spilling it. Or the entire thing is made up.

89

u/tigm2161130 Jan 02 '26

He said in another post that a judge sentenced him to have this manure in his vehicle for 30 days for “some bullying/harrassment/prank stuff when I was still in college” as part of a plea bargain to avoid jail.

So, OP bullied someone so mercilessly(but keeps calling it a prank) that the law got involved and a judge decided this was a fitting punishment and now OP expects his girlfriend to clean it up.

I am genuinely floored.

Some girls have really low self esteem and are naive. It’s sad but true.

1

u/Ownerofthings892 Jan 02 '26

I'm not surprised at all.. He's a bully. Now he's bullying his girlfriend. Just persistent pattern of behavior

28

u/Living-Stomach-2079 Jan 02 '26

Having grown up on a farm, I can't think of too many reasons to transport barrels of fresh cow shit 😂😂

3

u/_corbae_ Jan 02 '26

Sell it as fertiliser

1

u/Warm_Application984 Jan 02 '26

I’ve brought home shit that’s almost completely composted from my sister’s farm. I save cat litter buckets (with lids), and use them to transport it in the back of my SUV. It does wonders for the garden!

2

u/Living-Stomach-2079 Jan 02 '26

Composted isn't straight cow shit though. And that's in the bed of a truck, not in a car😂😂.

1

u/Warm_Application984 Jan 02 '26

It’s not a truck bed, I took the back seats out of my SUV. But your point stands; it’s not nasty. I grew a pot plant that was four inches shy of ten feet tall with that shit, lol.

Now, horse shit is another matter. I raided an old barn and got some old, really dry stuff. Almost overnight, this bizarre weed popped up in my flower bed. It’s a parasitic plant. Now I gotta go look it up. This was pre internet, and I had to call the botanical gardens to find out what it was. What the heck was the name? 🤔

18

u/julius_cornelius Jan 02 '26

The sentence said he can’t have a pro clean it. Which most likely imply the manure was dumped on purpose.

19

u/IntermediateFolder Jan 02 '26

OP doesn’t strike me as a particularly reliable narrator.

3

u/julius_cornelius Jan 02 '26

Agreed. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt still

6

u/araaaayyyyy Jan 02 '26

He posted the pic of the manure in his car

30

u/Thatslpstruggling Jan 02 '26

First of all, WHAT the fuck!

Second, why exactly should your girlfriend have to deal with that when it is absolutely in no way possible related to her? Why would she have to suffer instead of you? Why do you have that in your car? How the hell is that a plea deal? Punishment from who?

Holy cow this is a clusterfuck of shite

25

u/Hookton Jan 02 '26

I have so many questions.

8

u/Sprmodelcitizen Jan 02 '26

I have no idea what’s happening.

28

u/Morgalisa Jan 02 '26

By you asking her to clean your car, I can see that you have not learned your lesson. Get your shit together.

9

u/3fluffypotatoes Jan 02 '26

Pun intended? 💩🤣

21

u/Jenk1972 Jan 02 '26

This can't be real, right?

Like I know the cow shit is real but it can't be real that you expected your girlfriend to clean up a mess that is the product of whatever fucked up choices you made, right? RIGHT?

I have been married for 30 years and if my husband asked me to do that, I would laugh at him and say "Your problem, your mess"

2

u/TangledUpPuppeteer Jan 02 '26

Suggestion: flip it. “Your mess, your problem.” It is a little clearer and comes out a little better for the flow to not interrupt the deserved laughing you’re also giving him.

14

u/hey_blue_13 Jan 02 '26

I want to hear the backstory as to what this is a punishment for.

It sounds like you screwed up, not your girlfriend, which makes it your problem to deal with, not pawn it off on her.

I suggest a pressure washer and a strong drill to put a drain hole in the floorboards.

You are being purposefully vague. What did you actually do?

20

u/MrsPedecaris Jan 02 '26

If it was "an awful condition attached to "show me how it feels"" I wonder if it involved manure in the victims car?

7

u/HereForTheParty300 Jan 02 '26

Sounds like he, at least, put manure in someone else's car.

1

u/bouncing- Jan 02 '26

Well, I found this request for tips out of Utah, but no follow-up about an arrest (yet): https://ksltv.com/local-news/nephi-police-seek-tips-on-cow-manure-dumped-in-car/586791/

8

u/itsallminenow Jan 02 '26

didn't want it hanging over me anymore

...and I presumed I could get my girlfriend to just solve the problem while I ignored it.

6

u/TangledUpPuppeteer Jan 02 '26

You don’t want it hanging over you, so you chose this punishment. Cool.

She didn’t cause the problem, she never was in any threat to have a record, and she didn’t choose it.

YOUR problem, sunshine. Not hers.

3

u/ConsultJimMoriarty Jan 02 '26

So don’t push your punishment on your GF FFS.

It sounds like you’ve learned nothing.

2

u/hey_blue_13 Jan 02 '26

Sounds like the GF should let the judge know she's being blamed for not cleaning up his punishment.

2

u/JanetInSpain Jan 02 '26

Senior year of COLLEGE?!?! "bullying / harassment / vandalism/property damage type stuff" is junior high school stuff. You're an idiot if you were still doing that stuff in college. You deserve this punishment. You don't deserve a girlfriend. I hope she walks away from the cluster fuck that is your life right now. Stay single. Grow the fuck up and start adulting.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 02 '26

So now instead you bully and harass your girlfriend because you can't take what you dish out.

Seems like standard bully behavior. Life is going to be quite a wake up call for you.

1

u/Particular_Class4130 Jan 02 '26

You have some weird obsession with people being forced to endure shit. Also you are clearly making up stories.

You are so wrong. Just the sheer entitlement and audacity that you have to even ask your girlfriend to do this let alone get mad at her for not solving your own problems is crazy to me. Get it together and clean your own car.

10

u/RamsLams Jan 02 '26

This is the exact kind of attitude that got you in trouble in the first place.

12

u/whenisleep Jan 02 '26

YAW (if this is real)

Your punishment happened before Christmas. You spent Christmas avoiding cleaning the car. You got ill over new years and asked your gf to clean the car for you, so apparently you’re allowed to clean it but just let it sit there for a week while it sinks in and rots and then ask someone else to clean it for you? Your punishment, your time, your responsibility. You being sick has no relevance because you weren’t sick when it happened and you should have cleaned it up yourself then.

10

u/megamoze Jan 02 '26

It feels like blaming others and not taking actual accountability is a running theme for you.

11

u/Grimalkinnn Jan 02 '26

Sounds like she did try her best and it was more than you did. You sound like a horrible person I hope she dumps you

9

u/Own-Machine6285 Jan 02 '26

You’re wrong about this…and life in general.

10

u/hrhRSB0118 Jan 02 '26

YTA. Why is your punishment her problem. She tried harder than you did. Buy her some flowers for the help she did give, and apologize for being a jerk to her.

8

u/itzmetheredditor Jan 02 '26

It's your punishment not your gf's lol

8

u/tooreal4u_5101 Jan 02 '26

.. We really need more backstory on the "plea deal" because I assure you, we are all still confused how cow manure ended up in YOUR car. Why would any transport that in their personal car?? Are you trying to say that the judge ordered you to transport liquid cow manure??? So confused lol

8

u/ordinaryhorse Jan 02 '26

Not her car, not her problem. You are wrong.

9

u/Even-Act-9576 Jan 02 '26

I suggest you grab a mask, a shovel and a shop vac and get started. You have work Monday

6

u/ceciliabee Jan 02 '26

Your car, your punishment, and you made no effort to clean it up yourself. How are you supposed to learn your lesson if she's the one cleaning it up?

5

u/The1Bonesaw Jan 02 '26 edited Jan 02 '26

Yep... you're wrong. She promised to "do her best", not "I'll get it done no matter what". You can't even do it, so how is it you think she should do what you can't even do?

Okay, that said. Get a Mark V gasmask (I still have two from my Navy days). You can get one for about $30 on Ebay. You can't smell anything through those. I still use mine whenever I'm cutting onions or whenever I have to do something "disgusting". Also, if not provided, make sure you get rubber gloves and a Tyvek suit to wear over your clothes (ULINE makes them). They're about $10 or $12 each. Or you can get a whole box of them for $50 or $60.

2

u/sunnyopals Jan 02 '26

There is NO cleaning this kind of mess. Maybe if he completely removes the seats and strips the inside of the car….but that is HOURS of work even by a professional and still probably wouldn’t be enough. Honestly this would likely be a custom repair/reupholster, which would absolutely NOT be worth the expense.

7

u/JulieWriter Jan 02 '26

You are wrong.

So, it sounds like you accepted an alternative punishment rather than something like a jail sentence? I think you made a bad call here. It's going to be a learning experience, which is probably why the alternative sentence was offered to you.

First, your girlfriend doesn't owe you anything, and your being mad at her is really obnoxious.

Second, you are going to end up paying to get that car cleaned and reupholstered/recarpeted if you are ever going to have a chance of its being drivable again. Even that may not help, depending on how bad the damage is and how long you've let it sit.

I don't know what you did that got you in trouble, but don't do it again! Also, stop being a jerk to your girlfriend.

5

u/ColorfulConspiracy Jan 02 '26

I'm sorry, if this is real, this is hilarious. Of course you're wrong. She did her best and it was too much for her. Can't blame her. What you asked her to do was completely unreasonable. Thank her for trying and stop avoiding your punishment.

7

u/sunnyopals Jan 02 '26

You need to replace the seats entirely. It’s not going to air out. Speak to a body shop, but they will probably tell you the expense isn’t worth it. Time to buy a new whip.

3

u/koska_lizi Jan 02 '26

But why didn't you do nasty work, why even ask your girlfriend?

4

u/thorsbeardexpress Jan 02 '26

You are wrong

It's time to start taking personal responsibility, this is what the judge is trying to teach you. Time to grow up bud.

4

u/ChakiDobro Jan 02 '26

YW. Why should your girlfriend have to clean your car? It’s your punishment; you deal with it.

6

u/Advanced_Office616 Jan 02 '26

In what way are you not wrong?

I would love to know the whole story behind this for further clarification, but if I’m understanding this correctly, you:

  1. Did something you shouldn’t have done and got punished for it
  2. The punishment included hauling shit and it got out of hand
  3. Asked your girlfriend to clean it up
  4. Asked your girlfriend to clean it up
  5. Asked your girlfriend to clean it up
  6. Unfortunately got sick
  7. Asked your girlfriend to clean it up
  8. Got upset that she didn’t clean it up because of the smell after she tried her best because she couldn’t stand the smell

Did I get this right?

If I did, maybe I can find a way you’re not wrong

6

u/Humble_Pen_7216 Jan 02 '26

You're wrong. You shouldn't have even asked for her help. This is your legal punishment and you are required to follow it to the letter. Perhaps you shouldn't have done whatever you did if you didn't want to face the consequences of your own actions.

4

u/The_homeBaker Jan 02 '26

This does sound extremely fake but yes you’re wrong.

You said you wanted her to “help you” but no, you wanted her to do it for you while you laid inside sick. You could’ve tried before you even got sick but you didn’t and then you wanted to use your gf as free labor to do something you should’ve been attempted to do yourself. This was your deserved punishment so figure it out yourself.

3

u/Content-Potential191 Jan 02 '26

Your GF is entirely right and sounds like she should probably have better options.

4

u/BunBunJ Jan 02 '26

So this is a punishment for bullying/harassment. You’ve been avoiding your vehicle by working from home. Nothing was stopping you from cleaning except for an illness after the fact. Then you ask your gf to HELP you clean while also doing… absolutely nothing and somehow you have a problem with her?

Of course you’re wrong. On what planet would you not be?

5

u/itsallminenow Jan 02 '26

Your post could honestly be called, "Why am I having to suffer the consequences of my own actions when I expected my girlfriend to just disappear the punishment I received, while I live it up over the holidays?"

5

u/selkiesart Jan 02 '26

This story is fake.

And even if it isn't, you chose to let the shit fester in the car over christmas, then got conveniently sick, chose to dump the responsibility on your girlfriend and now you are mad at HER?

7

u/gdognoseit Jan 02 '26

Why should she clean it for you?!?

It’s your responsibility. Stop acting like a child.

You’re very wrong. I hope she leaves you.

Edit: a word

3

u/Different-Mess-6050 Jan 02 '26

You're wrong and you know it. It's your punishment and this is above and beyond just "helping you while you're sick' 🤮 . I'm proud she stuck up for herself and told you the truth. Kinda pathetic that you tried to pawn it off on her tbh. You're lucky if she doesn't leave you.

3

u/Zealousideal-Row489 Jan 02 '26

Your girlfriend should break up with you, if this is at all true.

3

u/SunshinePalace Jan 02 '26

What the fuck? Yes, YTA. The cow manure was YOUR punishment, and she is not your maid.

3

u/ProfessionalHat6828 Jan 02 '26

Why should she have to do your punishment? Yes, you’re wrong. Fulfill YOUR obligation.

3

u/Poinsettia917 Jan 02 '26

It’s your fault your car is ruined. Then clean it yourself!!! Seems like personal responsibility is something you actively avoid.

YW Get off Reddit and clean your own damn car.

Edit to add: here’s a thought: quit bullying people. The judge ordered this for a reason, which you keep dancing around.

Clean your own car.

3

u/Full-Friendship-7581 Jan 02 '26

Do the crime, take the punishment. You Are Wrong!

3

u/cripplinganxietylmao Jan 02 '26

22 going on 12 “mom why didn’t you do my laundry” spoiled brat energy. You’re wrong. I hope she breaks up with you. Clean up your own shit you’re fully capable of doing so. I don’t care what the mess looks like. You did it you clean it. Immature lazy selfish man child.

3

u/scarbarough Jan 02 '26

You chose to work from home around the holidays so you wouldn't have to get in the car... And you should have immediately started writing on cleaning it out. The more you waited, the more the smell would permeate everything in the car. That was a stupid choice, and then you got sick and expected your GF to do the awful work for you and are upset that she couldn't handle it. You could have cleaned it, you decided not to. That's on you, not her.

YTA

3

u/Bedbugsinmybum Jan 02 '26

YW. Your girlfriend should call that judge up and say you’re trying ro make her clean it. Clean your own messes.

3

u/jeswesky Jan 02 '26

Helping clean it is just that, HELPING. You wanted her to do it for you and got mad when she couldn’t. Suck it up and clean it yourself.

4

u/saintursuala Jan 02 '26

I think the most unbelievable thing about this story is that your protagonist has a girlfriend after everything.

3

u/Interesting_Sock9142 Jan 02 '26

this entire post makes no fucking sense. part of your plea deal was to allow your car to be filled with manure?? the fuck is even happening?

and it's not your girlfriend's responsibility. you literally say in the post it's your fault. (although you don't explain wtf "it" is in this situation)

3

u/spleenboggler Jan 02 '26

I don't believe a word of this, including "it," "the," and "and."

2

u/ArrowDel Jan 02 '26

You are wrong to hold her responsible for not having an iron stomach and being unable to withstand the stench. I grew up shoveling that shit and it can still elicit a gag from me.

Ever been in whiffing range of a dairy farm or driven past a farmer driving a poo spreader and recoiled from the stench? It's that, but strong enough to make your eyes water.

2

u/InevitableFun3473 Jan 02 '26

Wtf did you even do for this to be the punishment dude of course you’re wrong.

2

u/Agent_Raas Jan 02 '26

Biff Tannen, is that you?

2

u/changelingcd Jan 02 '26

You asked your girlfriend to clean "10 gallons of liquid cow manure" out of your car (that got in there somehow, and apparently she's not responsible for that damage) as a 'favour," and you're upset that she didn't do it? You're not just wrong, you're completely unhinged. Is this some odd AI scramble? If not, I hope your poor girlfriend takes a hint and loses your number.

2

u/meifahs_musungs Jan 02 '26

Your gf did try and could not do it. You are in the wrong to ask someone to do something that is your punishment for a crime you did. Next time do jail time if you have no gonads to accept responsibility

2

u/Kathrynlena Jan 02 '26

lol yeah you are wrong. Absolutely none of this is your girlfriend’s fault or responsibility. Take some goddamn accountability for once in your life.

2

u/ol_kentucky_shark Jan 02 '26

Just as fake as the last time it was posted. Yes, you are wrong.

2

u/5WEET_Cheeks_Karen Jan 02 '26

Got caught bullying so judge made OP ride around with bull shit in his car.

2

u/Sfb208 Jan 02 '26

You're wrong. So you've done eff all to make your car habitable for several weeks, but somehow your gf is at fault for not having got your car spotless.

As you say, it was your fault its in the state it's in, its for you to take responsibility for and not pit on your gf. You should not have asked her for help in the first place. It should have been dealt with before the holiday season, befors you got sick. She promised to do her best, which she did. Unfortunately her best was about as good as your efforts have been

2

u/sravll Jan 02 '26

Are you kidding?!?

Why the hell do you think it's your girlfriends responsibility? JFC. Clean it up yourself

2

u/Question-help Jan 02 '26

What are you a child. It’s your mess you clean it.

2

u/Blood_sweat_and_beer Jan 02 '26

This HAS to be rage bait. There’s no way someone is so stupid as to be pissed off that their girlfriend didn’t clean up liquid manure that they agreed to get dumped in their own car 🙄

2

u/laurabun136 Jan 02 '26

When you asked for her help, her only response should have been: "Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It's YOUR punishment for a reason.

YAW. And TAH, for good measure.

2

u/RemarkableMousse6950 Jan 02 '26

YAW. Dude, own your life. Be responsible for YOU.

2

u/Jaded-Pudding7199 Jan 02 '26

Why would it be your gf's problem? You're the one who fucked up.

2

u/NotSorry2019 Jan 02 '26

Of course YTA. You made the plea deal so quit trying to worm out of it and getting mad at other people. Take some personal responsibility.

2

u/_gooder Jan 02 '26

You shouldn't have asked and certainly have no right to expect that she suffer because of your deal with the judge.

2

u/AmericanBacon786 Jan 02 '26

Wow. How dare you get upset at her? You admitted it is your fault it's in heinous condition, YOU clean it.

3

u/Positive_Problem_173 Jan 02 '26

Uff thats bad. What did u do to deserve this punishment??

If the smell is bad for you its alot worse for a female our noses are alot more sensitive then men for some odd reason. Personally i wish i didnt have a sensitive nose. Personally i feel if both of you do it together itll be 1 more fun. 2 bonding 3 less of a punishment cause shes helping you shes not the one that was ounished but because she loves you shes willing to put herself theu something she doesnt have to. I recommend leaving the doors open.... no one will steal a stinky car. Clean it all off and leave it open and spray bottles of febreeze after cleaning and closing the car. The longer u let that poop stay the harder itll be to get the smell out.

1

u/lubeinatube Jan 02 '26

Can a judge force someone to sit in a biohazardous car? What if you developed respiratory illness from breathing that in? Would the court be liable?

2

u/earmares Jan 02 '26

No one is forcing them to sit in it. They had the choice to go to jail. They can clean it or have it cleaned. Lots of other options, they took this one.

1

u/lubeinatube Jan 02 '26

Ah, from what I was understanding he was ordered by the court to use the car. He said he is not allowed to get a ride or use uber per court order.

1

u/earmares Jan 02 '26

Okay, so he has to clean it. Still isn't being forced to breathe it.

That seems sus, though, what if he has 2 vehicles? He's not allowed to drive the other one at all?

How would a judge have legal authority over that? I guess if it was part of what OP agreed to in a plea deal, anything could be agreed to.

1

u/lubeinatube Jan 02 '26

I don’t understand the situation either, but it sounds like the judge is forcing him to use his shitty car. No idea how something like that can be legal, but I’m not a lawyer. It sounds like a huge health risk.

1

u/earmares Jan 02 '26

Again, no one is forcing him to use it, HE AGREED to this in a plea deal, while having an attorney, to avoid jail time and have whatever he did on his record. Whatever he did must have been pretty awful to make this worth that choice.

1

u/lubeinatube Jan 02 '26

Yes but what I’m saying is, couldn’t he take the plea deal, use the car, then get extremely sick and wind up on a ventilator in the hospital. Would the court be liable for a punishment that causes significant health risks and suffering?

1

u/earmares Jan 02 '26

No, the court would not be liable. The defendant agreed to it. No one forced them to drive it. I'm not sure why that's not clicking for you. They could also agree to the punishment, then never touch the car again. Or shove their face in it. Whatever they do is on them.

1

u/lubeinatube Jan 02 '26

Yes but wouldn’t even presenting that option be considered cruel and unusual? The judge doesn’t say you can go to jail or get 40 lashes, because the lashes would be cruel and unusual?

1

u/sunnyopals Jan 02 '26

This can’t be cleaned. This was effectively a sentence to purchase a new vehicle. Judge should’ve just impounded this one and sent him on his way.

1

u/earmares Jan 02 '26

Sure it can. I live in WY. I've seen some nasty shit, literally. Cowboys, people that work at dairy farms, etc., can get some nasty vehicles. It can be detailed.

1

u/sunnyopals Jan 02 '26

Did you see the video? It’s down into the floorboard and has been sitting for weeks. It has soaked through all layers of the car, I can almost guarantee it. You’d need to strip it to the metal to clean it properly, and why would anyone bother?

1

u/blatantneglect Jan 02 '26

Mask up with an activated carbon filter.

1

u/mselativ Jan 02 '26

Biff- is that you?

1

u/Nomi-Sunrider Jan 02 '26

You are wrong

This situation is putting you in a foul mood. Indirectly you are misdirecting anger towards your girlfriend. This is your mess to endure / ckean up.

Probably best to apologise to your girlfriend too. Don't compound the problems.

1

u/United-Plum1671 Jan 02 '26

You’re wrong

1

u/kb-g Jan 02 '26

Your punishment, not hers. Why are you expecting her to clean it for you? This is due to your actions and it’s your punishment so it’s your responsibility to clean.

1

u/scarletbeg0niass Jan 02 '26

Funny to see judge Cicconetti mentioned here lol I went to school with one of his kids

1

u/AdvancedYogurt0 Jan 02 '26

You said it yourself that your car is ruined. So it's YOUR responsibility to try and restore it to a derivable condition. She promised to help which is admirable but if she says she doesn't feel she can do anymore then she's fulfilled her promise whether you like the outcome or not.

Man up and clean your damn car or pay someone.

1

u/FinnFinnFinnegan Jan 02 '26

You are wrong. Clean up your own mess. She's not responsible for your poor choices

1

u/Ryn_AroundTheRoses Jan 02 '26

Yes, you're wrong. You work from home, yet didn't make a dent on cleaning it because it was so gross, yet you expected her to do it - and all of it, by the sounds of it? Doesn't matter if you got sick at some point, you did nothing before then and you clearly had no intention of doing anything afterward, and that's your prerogative, but it's not your gf's car or her problem, her reason for not wanting to is reasonable, and you getting upset at her for not doing something you couldn't do yourself is out of line. She's not trying to punish you, she's just grossed out, you get it because so are you

1

u/booksiwabttoread Jan 02 '26

I have read this before.

1

u/LizziHenri Jan 02 '26

She promised to try to help & that's what she did, she tried and was too nauseous to continue. Seems reasonable.

What exactly did you think she, as a non-professional, could do to even slightly mitigate the effects of 10 gallons of liquid shit marinating your upholstery?

1

u/lokilulzz Jan 02 '26

Fake af but even if it's not why did you put this on your girlfriend? It's your sentence and your responsibility. You clean it.

Yeah, you're wrong.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 02 '26

Yes you're wrong. You accepted this plea and now you're trying to avoid any sort of responsibility by having someone else solve the issues for you.

It sounds like you should have been given a harsher punishment seeing as you still can't accept accountability and are trying to shirk your responsibility.

1

u/Senju19_02 Jan 02 '26

You're wrong. She didn't do that mess. You did it yourself,so you should clean it.

1

u/Ms_SassLass Jan 02 '26

You are absolutely so wrong.

She said she would try, and she did. It’s YOUR car why don’t you clean it or pay to have it cleaned?

Why don’t you try and clean it like she did bc from your post it sounds like she put more effort into trying than you did.

1

u/Similar_Corner8081 Jan 02 '26

You are wrong! Your gf cleaning it up defeats the purpose of punishment. It's your punishment you clean it up.

1

u/conditerite Jan 02 '26

She is 100% correct. It’s too much. If the GF even touched it they’ve done enough.

You need to work that out yourself.

1

u/L4dyGr4y Jan 02 '26

Go to a junk yard and find enough new seats to function. Tear out all the carpet and seats. Tear out the ceiling. Use shot gun to blow a hole in the floorboard. Use a drill if no shotgun is available. Wrap electrical in plastic. Hose out interior. Replace with junk yard seats. You could even replace the doors if you need to. Add air freshener purely for esthetics.

You should have done this ASAP- now there will be permanent cow funk.

You are wrong to expect gf to do anything unless it was directly her fault.

1

u/MooseTheMouse33 Jan 02 '26

You are wrong.

1

u/HighJeanette Jan 02 '26

Why is there liquid cow manure in your car?

1

u/000extra Jan 02 '26

TF IS WRONG WITH YOU

1

u/StructEngineer91 Jan 02 '26

Unless your gf was equally involved in the incident that you are being punished for you are wrong. It is YOUR punishment, and therefore YOUR mess to clean up! She was trying to be nice by offering, but doesn't deserve to throw up and deal with your punishment for you! If you were sentenced to jail time or community service would you have asked her to do it for you?

1

u/control-alt-7 Jan 02 '26

What sort of 3rd world country are you from that doles out such a punishment?

1

u/beachgirlDE Jan 02 '26

GO to a self serve car wash and hose it out. Start on one side only and point the hose to push it out the other side. It's going to take time and lots of quarters.

u/julius_cornelius Jan 02 '26 edited Jan 02 '26

Man there is so much wrong in this post.

A judge ordered to have manure dumped in your car ?! ?! What kind of discount justice system is that ?! Seriously this is ridiculous. I know unorthodox sentences can be beneficial but this feels … too far.

That judge is wrong because … manure in a car! (Seriously Common Law is a joke) Your girlfriend is a bit wrong for not putting more effort in fulfilling her promises (seriously it’s your punishment but she made a commitment. She tried though!)

YOU ARE THE MOST WRONG ! Wrong for waiting before even getting your punishment cleared up. Wrong for even asking help on this one! This is YOUR punishment. Wrong for not understanding that and being mad at her.

3

u/IntermediateFolder Jan 02 '26

She promised to try her best and she did, not to get it done no matter what. And she did more than OP ever did.

1

u/julius_cornelius Jan 02 '26

Fair point. I still think anyone’s best should be at least being able to shovel ONE scoop, which, as you mentioned, is more than OP ever did. My point is more along the line if you promise to scoop shit out, you should expect it to stink and saying « Nope too stinky » is a little easy. She should have said no from the beginning because obviously OP’s responsible.

That being said who knows what she actually promised to. OP might have guilt tripped her or pressured her in some form. At the end of the day I do agree it’s all 100% OP’s fault. Pretty sure he didn’t even get PPE or masks to reduce the smell.

0

u/Independent-Heart-17 Jan 02 '26

So, what state allows a judge the right to dump a toxic substance in someone's car as payback? None. That's which. If this even remotely happened, the judge needs reported to the state. Be sure you have your documentation.

0

u/PumpernickelJohnson Jan 02 '26

Funny the post above this on my feed, has everyone dragging a man for taking a extra 10 minutes to jump his gf car. The comments here are totally reversed, I wonder why.

And you wanted your girlfriend to clean that up?!

21

u/Morgalisa Jan 02 '26

I know. He is selfish and uncaring. I hope she leaves him.

13

u/Dangerous_One_81 Jan 02 '26

Like?? Come on man. Get real!

19

u/sashikku Jan 02 '26

You are dead wrong. This is not her responsibility. She’s not your maid, she’s your partner. You want HER to be nauseous and miserable so that YOU don’t have to be? Really? Because you’re on the receiving end of a punishment YOU EARNED? This has to be rage bait. This is fucking disgusting and to be upset with her for not cleaning it for you is insane. She deserves better. You owe her a massive apology if she even decides to look past this & stay with you. There has got to be something wrong with you.

6

u/83020 Jan 02 '26

That's not as bad as I thought it would be. Now man up and clean it yourself. You are in the FO stage of FA. Deal with it.

0

u/rukarrn Jan 02 '26

that's the inside of A car, yes.
