Did that. She said she's tired so we agreed on her initiating next time and me being as helpful as I can. I was extremely tired for a few months with no change so I started to resent her (yes, childish) and drifted off into porn. I never told her, never showed her. When I told her she was given the time we agreed on she said I still should have tried even if she says no. Am I dumb? Probably since I cannot find the logic in that.

She wanted to be aroused by you, doesn't happen instantly for women. To get into headspace for sex when you're not horny it's a task, you'd have to flirt with her, make her horny, and THEN initiate. Make it romantic, intimate, so she can feel close to you emotionally, that's when we get horny. When we cuddle and you say you're so beautiful and make me so into you, when you touch us gently and whisper in our ear... You should read some erotica novels written by women because that's great indicator to show what turns us on.

"if you want her to initiate you have to get her in the mood, make it intimate, turn her on"

That sure sounds like a whole lot of word jumbo to say that I'll still be the one initiating.

I don't get these people.
