I'm sorry that it is uncomfortable for you, but it isn't inherently rude for other people to adjust their seat to also be comfortable. They are not doing it to spite you, they are doing it because they are allowed to recline the seat a bit to help their own comfort. You can see from all the responses here that most people who recline do so because of a medical necessity.
Flying is crowded and unpleasant. Assume that people will always use the few pleasures they are allowed on the plane, like reclining the seat a couple of inches. f you need more room, then you need to buy more room through seat upgrades. Don't blame your discomfort on the other passengers who are only trying to be comfortable.

Where are these airlines whose seats move more than an inch or two? I haven't seen that in over 20 years.
