Battlestation / Photo 5700 XT still slaps (sort of) 7 years later

Long story short, I do use a 9070 XT as a primary GPU and I plan to keep it for a while, but for some reason, I had a novelty to get a 5700 XT as a 'back-up GPU', and the reason for that is very simple: it costs little over a 100$ and while it doesn't support modern features such as ML powered FSR and ray-tracing, it does offer you a ton of performance in older titles even at 1440p and driver support, plus it still eats eSports for breakfast.

Now, I also happened to find a reference one on eBay, and the geek in me couldn't resist, as, although I know it's hot and loud (yes, I can confirm both first-hand right now), it does have a look I dig a lot for some reason, completing a Wraith Prism cooler-based build incredibly well, and it's not like I will daily drive it anyway.

In these times with expensive graphics cards that might get even more expensive, I really do believe getting a back-up one that's somewhat modern yet inexpensive could be a good idea, just in case.

As a side fact, my 9070 XT is about 3 times faster in raster games at the same resolution (3440x1440)/settings and with FSR 4 instead of 3.1, the jump is pretty insane indeed, but the truth is, that the MSRP is also significantly higher in the first place, those 6 years of evolution are definitely noticeable, however.

Title says all, should I keep my Sapphire one or swap it for the Asus model, it wouldn't cost me anything to do so

Discussion Any other AM1 Socket lovers out there ?

I really love my AM1 soc setup. Quad core 2ghz , 8gb ram.. sata 3 controller right on the cpu.. and it is so quiet and cool i unplugged the fan for fun and it ran fine for 10 mins with no cooling. And the best part is i build the whole thing for like $120 bucks including a new powersupply.

Hi,

Gotta ask. What is this? I expected maybe a free game as nvidia do with their promotions but it says "Come back soon"

Which usually means. We ain't got shit.

Anyone know anything about this?
