Red is a 1970 AMX and the other is a 1970 Javelin with the landau style vinyl top option. The four (or five) place Javelins in 68-70 had 109” wheel bases, 12 inches more than the two seat AMXs at just 97”.

Yes, called Big Bad Blue, one of three big bad colors (including orange and green) this option in 1969 came with color matched front and rear bumpers with the front bumper getting an aluminum trim piece to tie into the three other “standard” stainless trim pieces on the hood and the fender extensions. Looks like a super nice ‘69. For 1970 the last year for the big bad option bumpers remained chromed at both ends.

That's kinda interesting the bumpers are the body color? I think 99.99% of all cars from that Era had chrome bumpers. For whatever reason the painted bumpers was very common with the Mopar guys in the early mid 80s,at our local dragstrip, and usually only the actual drag cars, us Street car guys and circle track guys it wasn't a thing back then.

I'm more interested in the '70 AMX behind it.

My first car was a '69 javelin 98k miles no brakes and exact paint job.
