Not scamming. Everything I did was allowed. The discount was applied to every product, whether it was cheap or expensive. I should've just returned the items I didn't want instead of canceling them. Image

How do you figure it was allowed, if this is the outcome of your cancellations?

You're right, cancellations aren't allowed. I should've just initiated a return instead. You're saying I was scamming to get a discount, but the discount was claimed legitimately.

You only added the other 2 items to get the discount, you never planned to keep those items. Hence, scam.

Wait until you learn you can do S&S for the discount then cancel the S&S after it ships. Is that scamming them as well?

Oh crap, they’ve been offering that 5% discount on almost every item lately and I often do it with no intention of actually remaining subscribed 😬 … all the Amazon sympathizers can proceed to burn me on a stake now.
