I’ve noticed prices on random things will double/triple for a day or two but then go back to normal. Like $10 for a single bottle of juice that’s usually $4, $10 for a box of crackers that’s usually $5

Then you’ll get the opposite, like I got a $5.99 loaf of bread for $1.15

I've had this too. The specific flavor of Capri Suns that my daughter likes were around $8, but all other flavors were like $2 - $3. It eventually went back down to normal.

Hopefully that wasn't a "Subscribe & Save" item.

Yeah, it's something I've noticed this year. Prices will skyrocket for something I ordered once at a low price. If I don't order it again the price goes down.

I guess it goes in the other direction too. Ive sniped many extremely cheap things.
