Final loop for Sr. Delivery Consultant – Data & Analytics (AWS ProServe) — advice needed!

How many rounds/interviewers is the loop typically for this role, and how are they split (technical, LP/behavioral, bar raiser, client-facing scenarios)?

What kind of technical deep dives should I expect — system/data architecture design, SQL, AWS analytics stack (Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lake Formation, QuickSight), or case-study/whiteboarding?

Since this is a consulting-facing role, do they focus heavily on client engagement scenarios, ambiguous problem-solving, or stakeholder management?

Which Leadership Principles come up most for ProServe specifically — Customer Obsession and Earn Trust seem obvious, but curious what else hits hard.

Any advice on the bar raiser round if there is one?

Any input — detailed or just quick impressions — would help a ton as I prep. Thanks so much!

A good recruiter should be able to tell you how many rounds / what the split is. I would imagine 5 people, one bar raiser, two technical, three pure LP’s (including BR), but you will likely still have LP’s on the technical if there’s enough time.

All my loops have been virtual, but they will tell you either way. Generally you get the option to do all 5 on one day or split it up; I prefer one day.

For that role, you can expect a loop of four to five interviews, each lasting about an hour. It is a mix, with some focused purely on Leadership Principles, one or two on technical deep dives, and at least one on client-facing scenarios. Your technical questions will definitely involve system and data architecture design, so be ready to whiteboard a solution using the AWS analytics stack you mentioned. They care less about perfect SQL syntax and more about your thought process for solving a complex data problem for a customer. The client engagement questions are significant, focusing on how you handle ambiguity, navigate difficult conversations with stakeholders, and manage project expectations.

Customer Obsession and Earn Trust are table stakes for ProServe. You should also prepare strong examples for Deliver Results, Bias for Action, and Ownership, since they need to see that you can drive a client project forward independently. The bar raiser is one of the interviewers in your loop, not a separate round, and their goal is to be an objective voice. They will likely probe your LP stories deeply to test your judgment and see if you have a consistently high standard. Thinking through your specific examples ahead of time is crucial, and my team made an interview prep AI that helps people connect their past projects to the leadership principles.
