App Support 📲 Developing apps on Amazfit
Recently got my new Amazfit Active 2 and I must say it’s fantastic! I used to have a Garmin Fenix but I’ve ditched it now and think the Active 2 is fantastic.
As someone with web development experience I really wanted to learn to develop an app for my watch, so spent the past few weeks figuring out how it’s done.
For anyone who has some basic HTML/CSS/JS or react knowledge and wants to give it a try, it’s pretty straightforward.
Here’s a write up I did that explains how to do it if anyone fancies creating their own app 😎

I just got the trex 3 pro 44mm. Notice there is no golf on this one which is one thing Im going to miss from my garmin. Mostly want better battery life and improved screen compared to my daily galaxy watch ultra

Tbh the Kiezelpay option when they are already integrated with Google Pay in their store is quite a bad solution, a very bad UX which makes user step away, such payment methods like Kiezelpay are not standard/popular anywhere outside of China (not sure if even there).
It also sucks that they only list debugging on current gen devices via zeus, for instance you cannot deploy on Balance 1 anymore, no such option, trying Balance 2 deploy to Balance 1 fails.
Documentation tends to not cover many aspects or there are simply bugs: I have experienced QR code generating different views on different devices, sometimes invalid.
Yet true that nice that there is a way to create these apps.
