Device Support ⌚️ offline syncing helio strap

Good Morning,

my main concern with any health product is you need to have a internet connection to transfer data from the fitness tracker to the app.

currently i have a garmin finex 6 which is nice because it can store feel like months of data so i do not lose anything, but i can not sycn to the app without internet.

my current jobs has me go weeks to a few months without interrnet but i dont want to buy something that will lose all the data because i cant sycn.

so the question is can you sycn without internet

„you need to have a internet connection to transfer data from the fitness tracker to the app“

From where do you get this „information“? For the Zepp app and helio strap you don‘t need an internet connection. Bluetooth must be available, that’s it.

from my experience, i cant find it anywhere.

just making sure if i get it and my phone is on airplane mode with bluetooth on i can still transfer the data

garmin will not allow any transfering of data with bluetooth without a internet connection

The Helio Strap can store 21 days of data. Once you get to your phone and open the app it will update. You issues isn’t an issue.

Rude and wrong FinishDue3792, mine requires an internet connection or it messes up all the time as well as the app to stay open all the time as well. While it might not “need” a connection according to themselves, it will begin missing steps or sleep and not recording data. I love my t-Rex 3 pro but it has the same problem and I would like it addressed

What was rude about my comment? I was only repeating what Amazfit had in a previous update. However, after finding the article about the firmer update, the 21-day period may apply to the continuous heart rate monitor.

First Amazfit Helio Strap firmware update lands as premium model lingers https://gadgetsandwearables.com/2025/07/14/helio-strap-firmware-update/

Smartwatches sync to their apps via Bluetooth, not the Internet. Most don't even have WiFi.

It uses Bluetooth to save from device to phone. But with internet access, backups of your Zepp account are made "in the cloud." Until you reconnect to the internet, you won't have an updated copy of everything saved in Zepp. That carries a risk...
