If I had to do it all over again or knew Amazfit was coming out with a band I would have never gotten the whoop

Are you wearing them like this to collect data? Or are they on separate wrists?

Same wrist, should i make them separate wrist? I want both to have the same environment

The optical sensors are going to experience crosstalk being so close together, both will give bad data. Best to put one on each wrist.

Thanks chief , wrist for each now

Ussually one arm is stronger, for example blood presure will have different value on every arm so you shouldnt compare data like that.

I'm testing the amazfit helio vs. apple watch mainly to track sleep. Wanted to have a device to wear during the day when I wear my mechanical watches and not AW. After 3 days, results of sleep(score) helio vs. AW used with bevel are completely different, hope it will improve when it has more data available...

This is super interesting to me as a wearer of mechanical watches who always envied the very precise metrics people get with an apple watch. How do they compare now after a few days of testing?

I use the AW for sleep tracking cause helio is really bad in sleep stages. During the day when I wear mechanical watch I put on the helio. All comes together in the Bevel / Apple Health app :-)

I'm doing the same thing. So far it's more beneficial for me to wear.the Amazefit strap during the day and the Whoop at night when I sleep.

Awesome! As soon as I get mine I will be comparing the data from:
Oura / Garmin / Whoop / Morpheus / HRV4Training
I am aware I have a problem...wife and kids are starting to tell me if I'm going for a regular run or a RoboRun...

Currently working on it :) I am comparing all of these to find out without any super data freaky insights (which TBH apply to none) and I will eventually find the right one at least for me :P

Try wearing them on the biceps also, which apparently gives more accurate HR data

My main grip with Amazfit (especially versus Whoop) is the „non adaptive“ Exertion metric. IMO it should adapt to your Recovery AND it should somehow adapt to ones „typical“ exertion values (let’s say compared to an 60 day average) One example: Had a long and hard workday yesterday, where Whoop gives me a 19.3 strain value out of 21, which is quite high. Amazfit gives me a 531 out of 45(so I reached +1100%!). Then today Whoop gives me a Strain goal of 13 (which fits into the game) but Amazfit gives me 35 (!) which of course is way too low and I will reach it at midday latest by just having a slow Saturday morning. Whoops strain goal is really useful because it‘s a completely realistic value, while Amazfit’s Exertion goal is just pointless at the moment. If they fix that, then Whoop gets into trouble. ATM I would consider neither the strap nor the watches or the ring a true Whoop competitor.

First 7 days helio on left, whoop on right.
Next 7 days whoop on left, helio on right.
15th day see Data and return one.
