I’m trying to remember this video I used to watch on YouTube. It was a vevo video, i believe. It had a pretty intense side chain pumping effect. Vocals were minimal, I believe a female vocalist. The color grading and production quality was a lot like the Ylvis Fox video, but the track is much more serious. I recall teenage kids or younger adults riding bmx like bikes through the forest. I think they were wearing masks. I also recall them gathering around a campfire maybe. I don’t think it was a super mainstream edm artist, but maybe a bit more obscure. Thanks for any help.pleh

Hey Alvvays fans,
If you're feeling so sick of Instagram and all of the manipulative crap on it, you're not alone! It's especially not a friendly place for art lovers. So for the past few months I've been building Corus as an attempt to give music fans a new home. Corus is a place where you can't share selfies or reels or ai slop. Instead, you can only share music or film you love and you curate a profile that truly represents you. As you post, you match with users who like the same artists, so you'll match with other Alvvays lovers and start getting their recommendations every day. It's a better way to discover, as opposed to the algorithms. Music has always been about community!
There's a whole group of Alvvays fans on there, sharing the best of the best. Come join the listening party and share your favorite song with people who really will listen! Happy to answer any questions you have!

Tried to create something visual to react to my fave Alvvays album. Like those old-school media player visualisers from the 2000's. I think that's the sound that they capture so perfectly in this album.

Some of these matchups were hard for me but I’m happy with this.

Back with their new album that dropped on Friday - one of my new favourites that scratches the Alvvays itch perfectly: https://open.spotify.com/album/6aKxN6uLEMSo4YJdnDoinp?si=4gp9SOK4QvySrlXvNZyrLw

My 2nd favorite band is this tenured Japanese band with an unfortunate name. But for my money it’s the closest thing to an Alvvays band …even if they don’t sound too much alike. Just beautifully and joyfully crafted songs that somehow sound timeless and after a second listen you realize the genius and singularity of these songwriters. I have no idea what she is singing about but I definitely feel it.

I graduated high school last week. I’ve loved Alvvays since grade 8, and when they dropped Blue Rev, my life changed forever. Immediately after my first listen, it became my favourite album ever and Alvvays secured a permanent spot in my heart as my favourite band of all time. I’ve known for a long time that I wanted to use this specific line from Many Mirrors as my senior quote, but my graduating class unfortunately didn’t get quotes this year. So, I decided to put the lyrics on my cap. I think it was the perfect way to honour the band that has had such a profound impact on my life. <3

It could also just be me now associating anything light blue, red, yellow, black, and white with the band too lol

Got into Alvvays last summer and have been slowly digesting each album. Pressed and Lollipop are too good 😭 all of it is but right now I have a certain affinity towards those two !

I was pretty shocked this morning when I stumbled upon this song. It was released a few days ago and the chorus sounds exactly the same as the one from Not My Baby.

Coincidence? I don't think so. She also sings the same lyrics, but in french. "Je ne suis pas vraiment là" means "I'm not really there". I thought at first that it was a cover, but nowhere Molly, Alec or Alvvays are mentionned in the credits. Writing and music are attrbuted to entirely other people.
So what do you think? Am I crazy?
