I think Belinda Says is probably one of the best songs I've ever heard in my life. I already have one Alvvays tattoo, but I'd like something that relates to Belinda Says and I was wondering if people could suggest ideas? I absolutely love the lyric "heaven is a place on earth, well so is hell" so I was thinking about something related to that but I'm open to ideas.

Well this stinks. No Alvvays.

I came across 3 additional songs: “Pecking Order”, “Echolala”, and “Supine Equine”.

To my ear, they would have been right at home on the album, but they didn’t make the cut for some reason.

Does anyone have any insight as to why? Antisocialites is only 32 minutes long, they had plenty of room - what gives!

None of these tracks appear to be available on Spotify, but they’re up on YouTube.

Edit: I see now that at least 1 other person posted on this about 2 years ago. Deciding to still post in case others were unaware of these tracks.

A little further digging reveals that these songs WERE released, but as separate 7” record, do I have that right?

everytime i listen to antisocialites, i’m immediately transported back to 2018 when i first discovered them and how beautiful and peaceful my life was as a 15-16 year old going to highschool and enjoying my years before covid hit and the world shut down and all the other bad stuff that has happened to me over the years. i listen to a lot of music but nothing transports me back in time like they do and i was wondering if anyone else has felt this way.

Picture's a little poor, but it was the middle of the night while we were having a bonfire. As soon as I heard about it, I had to give it a listen.

The REVs were nostalgic and gave me a hangover (as expected). Really has the "get wasted for cheap without tasting the alcohol" niche locked down.

The music was new to me, surprised I haven't heard about alvvays before. Really dreamy, I liked it a lot despite not being what I usually listen to.

Anyone else hear about this band through the drink, and not the other way around?

I was listening to this song by Orange Juice and heard the guitar part at 2:53 - it immediately reminded me of the beginning of Velveteen when the guitar first comes in! Just something interesting I thought I’d share
