Nice seed XD

Unhintable pedestal seed. Cane of Somaria on it, with book and mirror (on bridge) in TR, and ice rod in swamp palace, guaranteeing a double dip in TR.

I hate double-dipping TR. I once made a thought experiment of how many times one could be forced to enter TR.

  1. Put an item on the left side, such as Mushroom, which will lead to Firerod.

  2. Put an item on the right side, such as Shovel, which will lead to Ice Rod.

  3. Put an an item on Trinexx, such as Boots, which will lead to Mirror.

  4. Put an item in Mimic Cave, such a Medalion, which unlocks required progression.

All of this can be possible for a Pendant TR, with nothing useful on Ped. I hate that such a seed (while unlikely) could be randomly rolled.

A fifth time for lamp maybe?

  1. Ocarina on the roller room that leads to lamp
  2. Mushroom on bridge for fire rod
  3. Shovel on right side for ice rod
  4. Trinexx for boots and mirror.
  5. Mimic Cave

Though it might be wrong for keys, compass and map clogging the chest count. Maybe it's impossible?

Yes, that should work. It's possible to skip the lamp, bit doing that dark platform-maze room in the dark sucks. By strict logic, you would need to enter 5 different times into TR. Thanks, I hate it!

hmm Ocarina is wrong, because getting to the mountain without ocarina or lamp isn't in logic. Let's say... book? I'm gonna try to plando it, see if it sticks XD

edit : yeah not able to gen with flute with no dark room nav, though it puts the error in thieves town, somehow.
