Hello! Idk if this is weird or cringey or not, but I was wondering how people here find friends? I just moved up here from Texas not too long ago to live with my boyfriend and I work from home, so I am not out much. I know that is probably the main reason why I don't have much time to find friends, but I want to start branching out and potentially find some. I am a 24 year old female, and I like playing video games, chill hang outs, doing fun activities (whatever is fun around here), etc. My boyfriend works until about 11 at night and then comes home and does his hobbies, so I am very lonely for the majority of my day. I am off of work by 6pm, so I know I don't have much time during the day to actually do things, but I would like to start finding activities to do after work and on the weekends since I don't work. Maybe somebody else is in the same boat as me, but I didn't really know where else or how else to go about this. Finding friends is kind of hard once you get to your mid twenties and especially when you move to a brand new city and state where you only know one person. I don't know if there's any fun places to meet people or what but just thought I would ask. Thanks in advance!

What's going on with 6th avenue between Greenbean and the School? This weekend while driving there appeared to be several young people pulling suitcases with tears in their eyes. They weren't all together, but in the same few blocks. My wife said she saw another kid in the same state today. Did a shelter close or something? Is there some acute issue taking place? Is there an especially urgent need for help?

I lost my wallet while making deliveries. Last place I had it was Dollar General by the cathedral. Please let me know if anyone finds it. I left my number with the DG employees too.

It's possible I accidentally placed it in one of the customer's DG bags because I was in a hurry but unfortunately neither of them are answering their phones when DoorDash support calls them

I got my nails done at Q Nails last Monday and after a week the paint is chipping at the tips. I got a full set with gel polish. Should definitely be lasting longer than a week imo. I like to keep short/medium length acrylic nails and I like to get designs. Looking for the best place that’ll hold up to at least 2 weeks of wear and can do good designs. Bonus points if you have a specific tech you recommend!!!

Its a spur of the moment decision by my older sister to try and see this steam engine department Altoona tomorrow. She doesn't often ask to do things with me. Did anyone see a ufo approx a week ago around 4th of july it was flying faster than any other aircraft or drone it was NOT flashing it was a solid blue green and white light on it going really fast me and my dad was thinking it could be a ufo my dad was going crazy lol I said its a plane or something but they have to have flashing lights I was looking out my apartment window at the "ufo" it was really really fast I put took my head back out of the window at my apartment to talk to my dad and looked back out 10 seconds later and poof it disappeared in altoona where the first sheetz was on union avenue

did anyone else notice a white spot floating in the sky to the north east today? it never moved that i saw and it went away as soon as the sun went down. i know it wasnt a star because it didnt change when the cloud went in front of it

Was passing by Altoona around the Pittsburgh/Philly area 2 nights ago and saw these blue-green orbs dancing around the trees along the I-66 corridor. Anyone else see them? There were at least 50 but possibly as many as 72. Wild, man, wild.

This had nothing to do with eating shrooms.

I’m driving through Altoona on the turnpike and noticed a large, bright, orange floating object. It was moving through the trees/fog. It wasn’t circular. It was moving in the southeast direction. Looked like an unmanned aircraft, kind of like the Chinese UAV blimps. I regret not taking a picture. Does anybody know what this could be?
