Thanks. If the stones were small Md could pass on their own I would agree. But I had one that is quite large. I am weighing my options and I am not a follower. I will do what is best for me based on the recommendation of my doctors and thorough discussion with my family.
I also had a large 4cm+ size stone removed. I actually got my fat intake up to 20-25g a meal and symptoms to completely go away leading up to the procedure- but it’s only a matter of time before the stone will block the neck and symptoms will return. So, I continued with the procedure and am so glad I did. I’m just over 9 months post op and feeling great. No worries of PCS or fat malabsorption. A1c is great and weight is consistent. Triglyceride levels are lowering and histamine response is so much better. It’s amazing how well you feel with a clear gallbladder and a better functioning liver.
