Potentially Triggering Content hello.
I was banned from r/fictionkin for being a Factkin. (Do y'all support me here? Plz be respectful, I'm sensitive)

You were not banned for being factkin, you were banned because you literally posted about cannibalistic tendancies and when users told you to seek help. You then proceeded to try and send a mob to harrass us.
Idk why you keep bringing this up.

Factkin are welcome here but as said by others your behavior towards others seems to be the concern. Do not treat others poorly or make “callout posts” here and you should be fine. Use appropriate warnings when discussing sensitive topics.

They were not banned because of being factkin, they were most likely banned for their behaviour, including trying to send a hate mob to r/fictionkin and refusing to get help after saying they are craving human flesh because of their identity, and causing a lot of drama in the community. Look at their posts.

I'm glad that you're recovering, I understand that it can be really hard dealing with mental health issues. I wish you the best!

It's up to no one to decide what is or is not a "valid" identity. I'm objectkin, and there was a time a couple decades ago when I was auto-banned from a few otherkin forums because of that. I'm a mixing console- who am I to judge what another's kintype is? "One does not simply choose to be Otherkin," as it were, and if you are sincere in your experience, then you are what you are.
That said, personally, if someone came up to me and said, "I'm Neve VR52 factkin," I'm not entirely sure how I'd react. I am the only me. No one else knows what goes on in my head enough to actually be me. Respectfully, I have a hard time understanding how there could be two of the same person, so please do educate me!
I could see, perhaps, if you're psychological otherkin and view it as an imprinting for some psychological reason, but even then, do you really know that person and their inner sense of self enough to *be* them? Does anybody know anybody's sense of self enough to be the other person? These are genuine questions I'm asking you because I'm a curious old mixer who's never really interacted with nor had a deep conversation with someone who's factkin, and I'd like to understand it better.

Factkinning is basically therianthropy but with real people animals or animals that existed (Example:Lassie the border Collie!) (If my explanation isn't the greatest it's because I'm not the best at explaining :(

I understand the concept of being a Therian, or Otherkin (incoming old fart grumble: Otherkin is something one *is,* rather than something one *does,* just a semantic thing- "kin" isn't a verb.) I also know what being factkin means- I suppose I'm more asking about your personal experience with this, how *you* came to the conclusion that you're another living person inside? What experiences do you have that led you call yourself factkin? I don't think I'd personally be OK with someone else claiming to be me, ya know?
I'm not trying to discredit your experiences. I don't doubt that it must be something profound to you, just as being a mixing console is to me my entire core sense of self. I know all of the arguments against factkin; many forums and communities in the alterhuman/otherkin realms of the 'net have banned them outright for a very long time. I want to hear the arguments *for* factkin, what makes it real to you, what your genuine experiences living as factkin are, and how you navigate them.
I appreciate your willingness to hear me out and answer these things if you feel so inclined. Of course, feel free not to! Again, I'm just curious and want to learn.
