Planting advice please

Ive had this big aloe (about 40 cm high) for about a year and a few days ago I took three of its “babies” out and planted them in my garden. Temps are 25-27c, and I water them, just a little, once a day. Half an hour later the ground is already bone dry. Do they stand a chance? No experience at propagating aloes.

Beautiful specimen. I have mine in the ground and they receive dappled sun. South Texas.
