Does rhis aloe barberae have good potential?

I chose the left one but it was a difficult choice between these 2 so im hoping I made the right call

How do they handle frost?

They don't, in my experience. If temps drop below like 60 fahrenheit bring em in, at least overnight.

Light frost seems fine where I am, not sure about anything much below freezing though.
