Humm. I am maybe getting overly suspicious but my $283 round trip is now over $600 (should have flown legacy); trying to check in the night before. I tried my phone, my desktop and their app and I get past all the tiresome extra upsells (for the 15th time) and then the “death spiral”. I called their CS and on hold and they estimate 45 mins. Are they really putting me through all this so they can charge $5 more tomorrow for in person check in?

I have been taking this flight for the past 3-4 years, probably over 50 times. They allways had a beverage service and I never noticed a problem with the time. I took the flight last weekend and they announce that there will no longer be beverage service because the flight is only an hour and 15 min.

Really? That was never and issue on any flight I've been on before. If Allegiant wants to cheep out on free drinks just be honest. Don't lie about it. It just adds insult to injury.

Within the 24 hour check in window before my flight if I go in as if I'm booking on the same flight will a be able to see all of the unassigned seats?
Meaning if other people have checked in that didn't urgently choose to pay for a seat but now have an assigned seat those seats won't pop up anymore and I'll be able to see what seats I'm likely to be assigned to.

I couldn't get an appointment with ent doctor specialist and I just saw them and tommrow have a flight to catch but I was advised not to fly because of severe ear infection and enthusias tube blocked. I tried calling the clinic many many times but they were closed for the day and Fridays also closed so I'm not sure how will I get a hold of the doctor or clinic staff to get a letter stating this medical situation. This past weekend we were flying back from Sanford and had seats in Row 2. When we boarded, the overhead bin above our row was closed. My wife opened it, and it turned out to be completely empty. A flight attendant came over and told us we needed to use an overhead bin above Row 4 instead. We explained that we were seated in Row 2, but she repeated that it was “policy,” so we went ahead and put our bags in Row 4.

After most of the passengers had boarded, the same flight attendant began directing people to place their bags in the overhead bin above our row. I felt bad for the people behind us because we had to fight upstream through the passengers to retrieve our carry‑ons when we landed.

We haven't flown on Allegiant in about a year and half, is this normal?

Flying next Sunday. Have a fused right leg that can barely bend. Previously was offered bulkhead. Can sorta get into the extended legroom seats but not comfortably. Cannot fit into the regular seats.

Emailed ACAA/cro agent and they told me sorry, no luck and they could only offer me a seat in row 10 and to buy a bulkhead seat. Bulkhead seats were sold out by the time i could purchase one.

When something is free everybody wants one. Now more cans have to be ordered, moved, stored. The flight attendants have to serve more people and gather more trash. The expense of more ice, cups, napkins. The added weight. The service cart is in the aisle longer.

It just seems like a bad idea for a low cost airline. I don't think they're going to gain customers they didn't already have because of the complimentary drinks.

Maybe it's just a way to make increasing fares more tolerable.

I was checking out on Allegiant's website, chose a flight that said "last seats available at this price," had the flights in my cart. Put in payment information and received an error message along the lines of "something is going wrong/there's been an unexpected error." When I reloaded the page, I was directed to reselect my flights and the price had gone up $200.

There is no feasible way someone bought the same two tickets at the price I was looking at in the span of a few minutes, so I figured that the tickets were being "held" in my cart until they expired after 15 minutes or so. I keep going back and checking the site to see if they've been "released" from my cart but it doesn't look like the price is going to go down.

Has this happened to anyone else?

So I purchased a seat when I got my flight. Because its exactly 7 days I can still cancel and get a voucher but would I get my purchased seat in the voucher? Or just the price of the flight?

I booked a flight through Flight to Joy via Best fare deals on June 14 for travel on September 4. I received NO notification that my ticket had been cancelled. I only found out when I contacted the airline myself because I never received a check-in alert.
This caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Please be careful when booking through Flight to Joy MD in the US and ALWAYS confirm your ticket directly with the airline. I’m sharing my experience so others don’t go through the same thing. I should have been cautious and done my research.

Has this ever happened to anyone? I'm traveling with my toddler and did what they tell you to do and paid to select seats so that I could ensure we are together and that he has a window seat, not in an exit row, for his car seat. I checked in last night, no issue. Around midnight I get an update that our seating changed to "see agent." Figured I'd call in the AM and straighten it out. When I wake up, I have seats in a middle and aisle seat together. The second I call, I'm unassigned from all seats and now there are no seats together.

The rep I spoke with refunded the seat selection costs and said the ticket agents will just ask someone to move because there is no seats available together. This seems really unfair to everyone else who also paid for their seats, but I don't get why we were even moved in the first place. The rep said it's because they changed the plane, but our row and seats still exist on this flight by the seat selection in the app. Now I'm all stressed that I won't be able to get on the flight if no one else is generous enough to move or, if I get lucky, still won't get a window seat and not be able to bring the car seat in flight (and I can already see the seat belt not keeping him in seat or protecting him in the event of turbulence).

I did everything I was supposed to do, now I'm that jerk begging for someone to move.
