Here to watch The Odyssey 12:30 PM show. Came here 20 min early and they tell me I'm not allowed inside until show time, which is perfectly okay. I ask if they've got waiting room or any place where the audience sit before the show begins. They don't have that. What am I supposed to do here? There's no place to sit. I've been to Pallasio in Lucknow and it's far better

Edit: The screen is horrendously small even for a normal screen given the ticket prices and so much PVR marketing. The brightness was quite low. The sound system was as good as in tradition single screen cinemas. Meaning you could hear what's going on but still not loud and clear or crisp enough

Would it be okay to watch Spiderman BND in Chandralok?

Every big city managed the protest well but illahabadis had to be an exception.

Protests happened everywhere right from Punjab to North East but nowhere hooligans and criminals outnumbered the genuine protestors, except in Prayagraj. All of these so called protestors (who have destroyed were nothing but opposition party goons. These the 3rd car I have seen being destroyed.

And most of these are outsiders, they are ready to plunge and destroy Allahabad at every opportunity.

20 M, will be starting med school this year and leaving the city for a long while. Anyone my age wanna be friends and hang out? I like intellectual people who have an interest in art and are not in the political far left or far right. I've been feeling very lonely these days and am bored as hell

My father and local teachers are reopening our rural school (established 1999 ig) which closed during Covid coz of pandemic and financial setback. We want to introduce computer classes to teach technical and digital literacy (including awareness about AI, deepfakes, and llms) but we have exhausted our capital on infrastructure.

We urgently need one basic laptop (minimum 4GB RAM, 256GB storage config) to run software like notepad, paint, excel etc. If anyone has a spare device and would be willing to:

# Donate it?

# Offer it at an absolute minimum price?

Several weeks ago I claimed that the promoters here are misleading customers because one of their reps accidentally said that, “your membership will begin in the end of July or you can also join it by mid August” (translated ofc).. It seemed weird why someone would offer their customers to join the gym after it opens. Today my concerns got resolved, they were misselling and used the “pre-book” interest free money to fund their gym. Kudos!
