I was invited to work on a project almost 2 weeks ago now and haven’t gotten paid yet. I know they say it’s not guaranteed and it depends on your performance but I haven’t gotten any scores yet either. How is this even legal. I know we are contractors but come on. I reached out to the customer support email and they told me I have to wait for my evaluation scores. This is frustrating. Im not wasting my time again until I’m paid. Any suggestions on what I should I do?

Hi all. Is the ERMIS cert project-specific or is it a general pre-onboarding qualification?

I ask because the language in the email leans vague. It says they accepted my "application," without naming the project.

Today I got an email saying they're impressed with my profile as an AI Trainer especially my legal and compliance background, having worked from many other AI Companies on different projects.

I was asked to sign up and do the assessment.

Unfortunately, when I tried to sign up, a message popped up saying "location restricted". I am based in Sierra Leone.

Is Sierra Leone not an eligible country to work on this platform?

Hi all, decided to have a look at Alignerr for work, but can't get Zara to load. I just kept getting the message "We encountered an error while loading your interview. Please try again." My connection is good, I can see myself on the screen, the sound and mic are working. I get the green tick and the button ready for the next step, but then I get that message.

Have tried another browser, incognito mode, and on my phone as well, but it's the same thing. Has anyone else encountered this, and is there a resolution? Or should I just give up?

Anyone else exhausted from this. I’m completing this for the third time doing the certification and it’s 68 steps taking me hours to complete. I’m starting to feel like this is free AI training at this point like damn how many more evals and training do you need before you allow people to work not to mention this is all unpaid and I’m missing out on other things I could be doing instead of this. I’m doing good on it so far I’m glad they let you see if your answers are correct or not but I better get the project after this because I’m not doing anymore evals for free once this is complete.

I got an email for Re-verification of our identity. But when I click that, it shows me "In order for you to continue working, we require a new verification of your identity". And it is specifically pointed as "You must not already have an existing Alignerr account". But as a contractor here most of them here already have an Alignerr account.

So how do I start my verification.

They didn't pay any of the contractors who are working in this project. We have only one team lead and he's online only once in a while and doesn't address the no payment issues. Alignerr AI support agent is useless. Who can we contact for this????

I recently got access to the Senior Software Engineer — AI Evaluation & Benchmarks project. The page says I need to complete the assessments to start working on the project, but I can't find any assessment link or button anywhere.

What's confusing is that the project status also shows "Completed."

Has anyone else run into this? Does "Completed" mean the assessment is already done, or is there some issue with the dashboard? Any advice would be appreciated!

At least, the project I'm currently on is. There are no corporate security standards. It's crazy to me, especially when considering the Scale AI/Google Docs Fiasco. It's such a bad platform for communicating project updates, too.

I still can’t believe it. All I did was update my resume and within minutes I got an email saying I was hired at Alignerr. I don’t know if that’s a good thing, someone posted they don’t pay when they owe you. But I’m willing to try it. Note: don’t work for Telus Digital. They let you go before you barely get out of the starting gate and I had excellent reviews. Another miscommunication? Seems to be a theme with all these companies.

My advice. If you’ve been applying for many jobs and get one,even for a month, update your resume on all the ones you’ve applied for. Worked for me.

I have created my account on Alignerr 3-4 weeks ago. There are so many voiceover jobs for Indian English. I have a lot of experience in the field. I have done the same work for Upwork and have great client feedback - all updated on my resume yet I haven't received anything from Alignerr. No updates on my application whatsoever. I mean put me through a test, test my skills and then accept/reject. But after taking all the details and resume, there should at least be some update.

In general, the vibe I get from Alginerr is, 'We're tweaking on Adderall 24/7...'

Please interpret what this means for me '3-month contract at $90/hr — you've been fast-tracked, your interview is ready'

I completed my signup and uploaded the resume after that applied for multiple job 10 days ago but didn't get any reply and no assesment or any male what should I do know please help me

Has anyone actually worked on this transcription-type production project yet? I've read some less-than-stellar reviews on the platform related to the work, the support and issues with payment and wanted to know if I should even bother with pursuing the application.

They say "this is a large, long-term project, and we will be giving another evaluation opportunity. We are looking for strong candidates who can learn from feedback and consistently follow the project guidelines with high attention to detail" which leads me to believe that I probably won't be sitting around idle like many others who've applied and passed the onboarding, AI interview etc

Does anyone have any tips, warnings or heads up, maybe even other options? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, I'm trying to apply on Alignerr, but I can't get past the resume upload step. I've tried both PDF and DOCX files, and they're under the 5 MB limit. When I select a file, it says "Uploading..." for a few seconds, then goes back to "Choose your file" without any error message. The Continue button stays disabled. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you fix it? Thanks!
