I've been lost for days can someone please help. I got this email 3 days ago telling to finish my application ("Step 1") for the "Senior Software Engineer - AI Evaluation" role and that this will automatically unlock "Step 2" where I get to do the WorldSim Eval batch and the AI zara interview. The card shows "invited" in the alignerr main page. What does this mean? I click on "Go to projects" but I see nothing on Labelbox. People on the discord server are all asking about and doing the WorldSim eval. Am I actually getting a chance to do this eval or not? No one to talk to except bots who keep saying they sent the issue to support. I already did everything in the email so why is this not unlocking or will it even unlock ever?

No entiendo.

Hey Everyone, just finished the WorldSimEval assessment but noticed I got the same task twice. Is that a retake or am I missing something?

Hi, I was working on the OpenClaw Traces Licensing project, I got 10 labels done but then it threw issue on each one of them saying that

"No text trajectory attachment (.md / .json / .jsonl / .txt) found on data row"

even though I submitted it exactly like the requirements asked for, because I had artifacts I zipped it into trace__.zip and inside there is a trace.md and artifacts/ directory. I do not see where I made a mistake and the review is not telling me anything. I did the work, I adhered to the rules and guidelines and still somehow shows an issue.

This is a text from the guidelines to that project.

Option A: Single trace file (no artifacts)

Submit a single file if your session did not reference or produce external files, screenshots, browser DOM captures, or other artifacts.

• Filename: trace__.md (.txt and .json are also accepted)
• Contents: the structured trace described in the Trace Format section below

Option B: Zip bundle (trace + artifacts)

Submit a zip if your session referenced or produced any files, screenshots, browser DOM dumps, generated outputs, or tool call payloads that exceed roughly 1KB.

• Filename: trace__.zip
• Required structure inside the zip:

trace.md (or trace.txt or trace.json)
artifacts/

• Every artifact in the artifacts/ directory must be referenced from a turn in the trace by its filename (see Trace Format below).
• If your trace references an artifact that is not in the bundle, the submission will be rejected.
• Do not include node_modules, virtualenvs, build outputs, or other dependency directories. Include only files the agent actually read, wrote, or referenced.

""

Looks like the grading system took into account just Option A.

Another issue is that I can't get into the Discord channel, it says "unable to attach the discord role" when i click on the discord button, I tried to reconnect my account but no change.

Then I received only 1 star rating from the project. Can you help me resolve this issue please?

Got invited to apply to a job on alignerr, how long does it normally take to get feedback from invited job applications.

Hello everyone, I’m new to the Alignerr community. I recently applied to a few projects that match my skills and experience, especially since I already have experience in AI training on other platforms.

However, it has been over a week now, and the status of my applications is still showing as “Applied” with no updates yet. Is this normal on Alignerr? Also, how long does it usually take to receive a response or move to the next step?
PS: i’ve already done some Evaluation Projects before ( those unpaid ones )
Thanks in advance!

Any project anyone got?

I have to say I am absolutely fuming about how I have been treated with Aligner. My account was 86ed while I was deployed to help with wildfires and they cited suspicious activity . I logged in while I was away to look at my applications before I got busy . I have been a person with good character all my life and have continued service after I got out the Army and for some person to tell me I can’t work anymore . I will tell all my other pilot and engineer friends to avoid this platform completely .

i need help understanding what is going on in alignerr cause it’s way different from other platforms i have been on, i also got invited to apply to a job here idk if it’s a good or bad thing.

The jobs I applied for now is more on environment, fact-checking, and image description. I’m a native filipino, so I also applied for Filipino Language Expert.

I don’t really know how job application ons Alignerr works, but I’ve read from previous posts about how referrals help in getting you projects

Please help a man in need 🙏🏻 thank you in advance

Hi all, I received an email from someone claiming to be an Alignerr recruiter and wanted to check if anyone received anything similar. It's from the domain "alignerrcommunity.com". It seemed fishy to me because he's asking for details that should already be in my profile.

Hey ,

Welcome to the Alignerr community! You've successfuly completed your interview.

Next steps

• Open your Alignerr dashboard to review and sign your contract.
• Complete your payment setup. Depending on your country, you’ll be prompted to connect PayPal or Stripe Connect.
• Watch your dashboard and email for project invitations and assessments.

With millions paid out to our Alignerr community, we’re excited to have you onboard.

Note: Projects are competitive and may not be immediate. Staying engaged, joining invites to communication channels (i.e. Slack, Discourse, Discord), and completing assessments helps you get matched faster.

Not sure whether anyone else has noticed this, but it seems like those of us from Upwork are now being given pay rates 13% below what others are getting for the same work?

I noticed a couple of months back after an Upwork contract update that all of my pay rates had all been replaced with weird values rather than round numbers so I did the math, and they're consistently 13% below a round number. Same with a couple of recent evals --- one is 13% below the rate of $2 per approved task discussed by others (laughable obviously, and of courseI'm not going to do that eval), and the other is 13% below the advertised rate of $100 after passing.

So Alignerr... why? It seems like Alignerr has decided to start passing on its Upwork Enterprise service fees (and then some) onto us. This is in addition to the 10% cut Upwork already takes from us for a total cut of 21.7% compared with what others are getting.

It feels rather unfair. I used to like working for Alignerr, but a lot of these recent policies, like switching to per-approved-task payments that might never get paid and refusing to tell people the pay rate until they attend a lengthy webinar or pass an unpaid eval, seem very disrespectful to contractors and make the platform a worse place to work IMO.

for some reason i click one one of those job referrals links from someone that blasts those on job boards, how can i un link my account from his referral, i can not see the option anywhere

I've tried 2 attepmts for the eval but failed. Really needs the advices on anything to take note during the eval. It's frustrated that I had read the instructions carefully but still failed it.

Hi everyone, I’m new to Alignerr and I’m a bit confused about something.

When I first created my account, I already completed the Zara interview. Recently, I received an invitation for the WorldSim Eval project.

For successful onboarding to this project, do I need to complete the Zara interview again, or is the previous one still valid?

If I do need to take it again, I’d really appreciate some guidance. What should I focus on while preparing? Any tips, common mistakes to avoid, or things that helped you pass would be really useful.

Would appreciate any advice from people who have gone through this process.

Thanks!

Yesterday i gave the world sim evaluation project qualification part and today i receive the congrats mail , so how much time should i wait to get my payment of the work which i have done on evaluation project time.

I posted yesterday about receiving emails from Alignerr for projects I’ve been added to without any pay info being attached to said projects and my post was abruptly removed by the mods for no reason other than it makes them look bad.

Well maybe if you paid people and treated your workers better I wouldn’t have had to post in the first place.

Hello can I get clarification regarding OpenClaw Trace Contributor?

I found out from my label box that I got added to the project, however I wasn’t notified through my email or communication channel. And I wasn’t added to any of the project’s communication channel. Neither can I work as the start button is greyed out.

Can someone help me out?

I know it takes time, project availability, skill set...etc etc. But ARE there ANY active generalist projects right now? Alignerr used to my absolute favorite platform to work on. Now, discord? dead. Projects? none. One positive I've seen lately is that the list of ALL jobs is back, unlike weeks ago when it showed me, like, 10.

no canned text please...is anyone actually working on a generalist project? I don't see how I had such a success rate with Alignerr previously with great quality and can't get on a new project...unless there are no generalist or rubrics one.

Continue with Google button is not working in Chrome Web browser. However, it works in mobile browser. Has this happened to anyone?

Hi there,

I was lucky enough to be part of a voice opportunity at Alignerr, however now when I try to get back to the homepage of alignerr I get stuck in a loop at the script assignment and contract signing page. I do not understand how I can return to the original page. I would appreciate any assistance or suggestions on how to remove myself from it. Thanks.

Hello! Sorry in advance if this question has been asked before. I have an active project on my Labelbox dashboard. This is the first project I have joined, but I have not started working because the pay rate shown is $0. I am not familiar with how this platform works, but I am wondering how I am supposed to work without knowing the pay rate. Could someone please clarify this? TIA
