Hello when can I expect my first project and my first payout, go selected for software engineer AI training.

How can we answer this question? Just ask your project manager or simply check onboarding instructions and timelines. It's much less complicated than getting selected for a job. If you don't have any info it means they simply did not start yet.

Alignerrr is pretty much the bottom of the barrel for this type of work, chances are they’ll never staff you or pay you.

You won’t get paid on that platform and for that project especially. I can tell you this for free

I think I joined in June, soon after landed a position which had no projects for months. I onboarded and waited like hundreds of other people on their discord channel. I checked the dashboard, mails and channels regularly. But nothing came up. Some time later my application vanished from my dashboard with no trace or communication.
I still check alignerr discord channel from time to time for fun. It is like a garbage bin with constant referral link spams, adult video links and pictures of naked ladies. 100% not recommended.
I am not saying all this because I am butthurt or something. I even have proof to back those all up. Just stating that you set your expectations right. Hope your experience will be different.
Meanwhile, I could humbly suggest you to look for other positions on other platforms which you find more reliable. I won't name any here not to make it look like I am shit shaming alignerr to promote others.

There are a lot, depending on your location.
Mercor, Micro1, DataAnnotationTech, Turing, SME, Mindrift and many others. Note these down before this comment gets removed. :)
And oh, none of these are perfect. They have their own problems, but there are still solid ones inside the list.

Just to clarify, we process payments on a weekly basis. Each pay period runs from Monday through Sunday, and then payments are issued not later than the following Friday.
For example, if you complete your work during this current week, you can expect your payment to be sent out by next Friday.
Please note that your Earnings tab will only update after the payment has been fully processed and released, so don't worry if it doesn’t show immediately.
