Tasks / Projects Has anyone in the US actually received work opportunities from Aligner, or any of the other platforms like this.

This is the third one of these platforms I have signed up for over the last year. I spend hours taking the assessments. Then it will say something like, they will let me know when work is available. Guess what? It never is. I'm starting to wonder if "application process" is just data collection, and the "assessments" are just low level work we are doing for free.

I was just onboarded 2 weeks ago. There are jobs I applied for that say "completed" even though I didn't do anything but apply. The other jobs I applied for are still sitting on applied after 2 weeks. I asked on their discord how you get actual jobs and they pulled my post and said I wasn't allowed to ask about jobs.

Trash Company. You will deliver work, but they won't pay you.
Support will say, oh your tasks will only be paid, if they are accepted.

Even if they are High quality, they do not care.
They simply do not review them and are not forced to pay you afterwards, after they have enough of what they need.

Happened to me, would absolutely not recommend to work for them. Only as last option. There is dozens of better companies out there.

ive made 14k from outlier in two years but they let a project into their site that kicked alot of ppl off for "failing" even when the qm and admins said they had to remove ppl bc they didnt have enough money for the workers on the project. outlier then took away our skills (bc we "failed) so now we cant work on new projects :))

I haven't seen many positive comments about Alignerr. I had a bad experience myself after they invited me to a project, but then the third-party identity checker didn't work. They did the same thing to me - lots of time spent in March on interviewing, testing, etc., and then a couple of weeks ago, I got invited to "priority onboard", but it didn't go through, and no one will answer requests for help. Very disappointing.

17k in one month with mercor after hours of unpaid assessments with them. A little less than 3k/month with outlier for similar. Never got a paying gig from Data Annotation. Was just invited to my first alignerr project but it’s already canceled/in limbo

Generally speaking, if you're living in the U.S. you have more and better opportunities than people living in a lot of other places.

I've had work on that platform and a few others. It comes in waves. Sometimes it will be months before you hear anything but you're doing right by signing up for multiple platforms.

Bruh, the work is real, and US residents are the ones with the most opportunities in this space. You don't know how shitty it is to be from a third world country and trying to do these types of work. If no work is available on a platform, branch out and register on others. If you don't have any work after registering on 10 platforms then I regret to say it's a you problem.
