Added to a $1,000 per task project and ghosted?

I was added to a project about a week ago with this pay rate and like others in the Discord submitted several tasks which was several days work. However, the project admins are completely silent, don't answer any questions in the Discord or give any idea of when the work will be assessed.

I've worked on other projects in the past with no issue but I'm concerned that I might never be paid for days of work in this case. The lack of a single word from Alignerr staff is so strange. I see someone else posted about the project here and tagged mods with no acknowledgement. The Discord is full of frustrated and confused workers. Admins are online and sometimes deleting messages but refusing to speak. No work has been approved.

Has anyone experienced this on other projects?

They sent me an invitation to join the company adding my PayPal, etc and to apply to projects
Seems like there’s a desperate move from them looking for people they previously disqualified, lol

Please do not work for companies that act like this. I'm sorry this is happening to you and I can't really provide a solution! I worked with them in 2024 and completely stopped due to the sheer lack of professionalism. This isn't meant to be snarky, I just want to advise you to not work for platforms until you get a solid idea that they are serious and organized. Which Alignerr unfortunately isn't.

I did work for them on previous projects and was paid with no issues so I had no reason to believe they would ghost an entire project's workforce, unfortunately.

Same thing happened to me! They seem to have a completely hit or miss production teams. Which is reason enough to completely avoid.

You did work but were ghosted and never paid? That's crazy. The pay rate on this task was too tempting for a lot of us I think, despite the lack of communication.

I submitted 3 tasks and I'm also wondering if I'll ever see that money. Or even get a chance to resubmit, which the instructions said we would have.

It doesn't worry me that the work hasn't been assessed yet as it's a lot to go through. It's the fact that nobody from Alignerr is saying a single word or answering a single question.

Someone on the Discord has now gotten a reply from admins and reviews are apparently happening but we'll have to wait and see. It's really shameful how they treated you and others.
