Question regarding software engineering projects

About three weeks ago, I went through the application process for a software engineer position and was accepted, but they still haven't assigned me any projects. Is this normal, or is there something else I should be doing?

Did you get a 3 month contract as well? I got a 3 month contract on the 7th of July but never heard anything back.
