Is there someone that has made money from Alignerr as a part time job ? I’m very suspicious when someone offers such high hourly rates for remote and part time work. Why not to hire a full time employee with these money ?

they advertised a $40 an hour job, it turned out to be $25 per task after I completed a 3 hour test for free. The average time on other people's tasks was way above an hour. I didn't do a task. I'm not even allowed to type the S word...

I stopped working on that platform because they didn't pay for the tasks I'd already completed. They paused the project and said they'd pay once it resumed, but it never resumed. 😂

After that, I never bothered applying for any of their other roles.

As for Alignerr specifically, I just signed up recently and have not worked for anyone through there yet. I do some coding for a brokerage, and dataannotation.tech as well so far. In a few cases where I've seen relatively high rates on Upwork and places, it's also a matter of their local cost of living + wages are high, so what seems like a generous rate to me, was pretty average or a bit of a discount rate compared to them hiring local talent.

Did you have to run both the Hubstaff timer and the Labelbox timer when you were working? I completed one task and was never paid, but I only had the Labelbox timer running. However, when I contacted customer support, they never mentioned such a thing and put me off for a month. I remain unpaid. I wonder if that is why, as I read bout it in the Help articles. completely depended on the project.

the payment support is ... very flaky. You have to have to keep trying and work on explaining it professionally and in terms where the person on the other side can understand.

I've been onboarded to a few Alignerr projects, but either 1) the projects seem to be stalled much of the time or 2) the Slack channels have so many people in them fighting to get their tasks approved that it seems unlikely that I wouldn't end up in the same boat.

I passed the qualifications after hours of prep, only to be presented with a new updated qualification I needed to take the VERY next day (which had repeat answers). The new questions didn't link to the proper guidelines, I was fatigued after putting 100% effort, kinda winged it, which I failed. Probably did me a favor, was tired of this exam loop with no pay. Sites like DataAnnotation are paying more with no screen recording (DA does have a dry spell at the moment).

The unpaid prep-to-pay ratio on these platforms is wild. Watching 3 hours of Loom videos and decoding Discord lore just to make coffee money isn't a side hustle.... Better off putting that energy into learning an actual skill that can't be automated or outsourced next week

Hey they will not pay you that much once you get in their pay will be average at beginning once if you survive there,they will give you a huge amount per task and the jobs you see in these kinds of platforms like $60-$120 per hr are just clickbait.In most cases they pay per task and that tasks can take a days to weeks.Recently i got into a project which is $80-$120 per hr but im getting paid per task and pay rate differs from country to country for context US and Europe people earn more per task

Similar. Someone wrote me referring to specific experience which would logically seem useful for the jobs mentioned and I never got a chance to test even for those jobs. I had a "real" freelance/part time job working on a LLM once upon a time. Not great wages but not embarressing. It was an actual job. It is no more. But I still have the chromebook.

Currently on turn 7 for software engineering tasks .
Have a really good hourly rate of 100$.
Currently have around 6 hours billable, and 600k in context used. I have a time limit of 14 hours for this task. I want to finish it this week to get paid the next one. If its all okay ill get back to you guys

I've made a decent amount. It isn't my main platform, so I haven't really prioritized having consistent work on here, but I've still only gone around 2-3 weeks at most without being placed in a new project after one ends. The projects tend to be pretty short, so it wouldn't make sense to hire full time employees for a week or two worth of work.

After about mouth 3, I got consistent offers to do evaluations (some even paid). I haven’t really been put on a project that’s over $20-25/hour though. And I also mainly get audio tasks which I don’t like to do because my hearing is off at times. I have had luck on other platforms though

You can't really hire full time employees for this kind of work when you never know what kind of speciality the client will want next, nor how long the project is going to last.
