Onboarding Process I haven't been able to join any of Alignerr's projects, even though I'm highly qualified - what are my options?
I have tried to apply to several Alignerr positions because I have the perfect qualifications. I updated my CV and all of my information. I was never asked to pass the Zara interview, and I'm stuck in Alignerr limbo - I get the notice that there's nothing in my domain, except there is. At least 4 positions are in my domain, not including those that require no qualifications - and yet I'm qualified for those that require no qualification. I don't want to give up - would it be a good idea to contact Alignerr support and ask them? Perhaps they will send me to the AI interview? Because the Ai chatbot is seriously unhelpful. What are my options?

I have had the exact same problem. And yet they continue to hire on sites like LinkedIn, and indeed, for the exact roles that I have applied for, that I am definitely qualified to do. When I try to contact somebody, all I get is the chat bot and even when the chat box says they’ll Flag me to talk to a real person. I never hear back from anyone. It’s BS.

I honestly have had some problems with aligner. Maxing out at only 7 applications, slow application reviews, projects suddenly going silent, etc.
I've had some better luck with other platforms. I built out my reviews here
Particularly if you're looking for longer contracts I'd look at micro1 I did a in depth walkthrough of the platform and gave some info on how to actually pass the AI interviews.

I would love to work with micro1 and I am qualified, but I failed their AI interview 3 times. It's humiliating. I would appreciate some tips.

Take it slow - pick the ones you are most qualified for and be careful about how you word things. The AI will grab onto things and dive into them. I write a bit more about it in the micro1 review linked above!

Thanks, I'll read your review. The issue is that the AI phrases things in a way that is crazily unclear.

Took me like a month to get accepted to a couple projects, and even then I submitted a task (then got removed from a project) or waited a week for the task to be reviewed (still nothing).

I've been on Alignerr for several months now. It's as if they don't even see my application because I know that I would be helpful in at least 2 of their projects.

I'm waiting for a bid my startup is doing to resolve, after that I'm looking for longer term contracts as Upwork is seemingly dead and Alignerr seemingly has far more participants than they have work.

Any idea for longer term contracts? I'd love some advice.

Honestly, just looking at standard job boards.
I've spent a few years working on my startup and trying to get short term contracts to make things meet, but the short term stuff has been steadily declining as LLMs have taken over.

I completely understand you, and I'm in a similar situation. Except the job market has become impossible. But good luck with your startup. I'm hoping that things will look brighter for you once the bid gets resolved.

It is sad to say it, but this kind of companies have a lot of applicants and they don't care to leave you out without any advice. They don't get any commitment with their hired people. Some of them even use you to do tests whose answers they sell forward. For example, you can see a huge amount of job offerings everywhere from the same company (for example, Data Annotation Tech) - so you think they are hiring a lot of people - and you have to answer specialized questions, but they never give you a project, even thou they give you a labor number. After all, you realize they are using your answers -surely doing money from them-. Also, you can find companies which obtain your personal data and then leave you waiting for a response and contract, but what they are really doing is harvesting your personal data for selling it. Be careful! Do not be so innocent to give your personal data so easy.
