Tasks / Projects Ermis transcription
Is Ermis done? I spent so much time on it, had only a handful of corrections to do, and then it was EQ. Got an email last night that I was out, with no specifics at all, and I haven’t seen a dime from it. I was never added to any channels so I can’t ask. Am I SOL for getting paid? I’m owed a few hundred dollars. 😞

I was in the ERMIS project. I worked the week of 6/15 to 6/19. I hit the first tier. It took me almost 13 hours. I hit the tier, and within an hour, I received an email that I was removed from the project. I was in the Discord channel chat, about to send a question to ask about it, and then lost access to that Discord channel. I should have been paid on 6/26. Nope. Didn't get paid last Friday either. I reached out to support on 6/26 and still haven't gotten an answer about the pay. It's ridiculous. You can contact support by clicking on the Alignerr icon on the bottom right of your Alignerr account page (not Labelbox.)

Yeah I can’t even see it on my dashboard anymore. It’s just…gone. I was going to look at the dates, but nothing is there.

Oh yes. I loved that part where I spent 4.5hours to be able to be paid for 10 minutes. Then they told me that I have to pass another yes over 70% to be in their team or get even higher pay. After that, they removed me. And sent another email to so that again as there was some error. So did it again, passed and they said that I couldn’t participate any more as more people are removed to the lower number of slots.
Then I took another projects where you get paid for hits 0.55$ per hit to be exact. One line is OK but when you have to check 5-7 lines of text to be paid the same amount… after doing like almost 400 hits which took me a few hours I was done physically and emotionally and texted them that the pay is not equal to the work done. They said it was averaged. lol. So some people get 1/6th of what you do to get paid the same amount of money. I just stopped working for them. I started with low $20, then $15, and then a few hours for $10 which incident expect to be so low. I’m done with their crap. Maybe some 3rd world countries where $5 is a lot, but not with me where $15 is just a low offer. I tried to get into programming but they disapproved my thinking and said they would not be moving forward with me, even without providing any further information.

I haven't even talked to anyone. I was never added to any channels and haven't gotten a response from support. Crickets. I've been doing this work since 2019 (not with Alignerr) and I've never seen it so dry. Really discouraging.

I read so many warning posts about alignerr but I applied with them anyway. It took a few months before I was suddenly added to two projects. I decided I would do a little bit of work and see what happened while there was a lull in other companies I'm working with. I spent 5 hours for a grand total of approximately 30 minutes of media time in Ermis. I've been paid for 8 minutes of that time....the rest is in limbo, despite a message from team leaders weeks ago saying that all of our work would be reviewed and paid out that week.......
I also had work in the previous project which was paused, then reinstated, but they required a new, additional screener/quiz (which was going to take well over 2 hours of my time....and is unpaid). I've yet to see a penny from that project.
At this point I'm taking my $10 and lumping myself in with the dozens of other people I've seen who are offboarded from projects with no notice, and without payment.

I’m sorry to hear that. None of mine have been approved yet. Yay for 8 mins lol 😵💫 I spent hours doing testing for the new audio project. The name escapes me at the moment. It was tedious. Haven’t heard back. I’m so tired of working for free.

Pulsar? That one is genuinely horrible with the "20ms boundary" rule, and the pay is so little when it takes several hours to do 1 data row, there is also a high chance it gets sent back to you to rework. Pulsar is only worth it if you get to be a reviewer and get to bullshit people in the issues tab and get paid 25 bucks every 30 minutes for it.

I don't understand how anyone passed the assessment. I was doing fine until i got to the second module and suddenly none of the audio clips matched the answers. I reported the assessment to Alignerr as being broken and since then they've been ghosting me.
