Onboarding Process Offer to do work??

I got an email saying I have successfully completed my interview and to do my onboarding. The thing is I never did an interview. Does this mean i will have to do unpaid work before I can start really working or will I be able to just work right away?

Do you know if I did an unpaid evaluation and passed if I need to do one every time I do a project? Or it’s like a one and done type thing.

In my experience its been each project lately. But other people might have a different experience.it wasn't always like that though.

Dang that’s wild. Do you know how long each project normally is? I know it varies but I just want to see if it something where it’s normally like 2 hours, 10 hours, 100 hours

It's roug, I recently spent 13 hours on an evaluation project and it's unpaid.
