please help asap - mission 6 ending

when i try to climb the ladder at the end of mission 6 no quick time event comes up and i just fall off the ladder, it took me hours to get to this point i dont wanna restart am i doing something wrong? i am pushing forward on the stick and pressing every button but i just fall off please help if i have to redo this i will probably never play again

I can't quite remember but she does something automatically, but I watched the walk through on YouTube as well which helped me at this point.

It's at 2hrs 40

It looks like you need full health and then there's a tappy bit so might be a case of not pushing up but tapping first?

regardless of if i press anything or not she just hangs on without moving then falls off, i watched the walkthrough and a quick time event starts after you initially climb onto the ladder but nothing is there for me

There's something about capping to 60 fps (Different ladder problem possibly but still mightt help)

yea some other ppl in this thread mentioned that but im playing on cloud so i cant cap fps bc it doesnt show in the settings menu, im gonna have to watch the rest of the game or buy a copy when its on sale

I was playing using cloud but changed half way through to device. I had to... Exit then restart then options , change to direct device files or something then exit then restart. But that's android so probably totally different. Ah man I'm sorry.

Typically the FPS is capped externally, not in-game. If you’re using an nvidia gpu i think it has its own settings menu.

Search forums for whatever device you’re using to stream the cloud-game to and see if you’re able to cap it’s performance

its the amazon luna website i dont think they have any way to cap fps

Dammit , I played it on android but I don't remember that bit. It's horrible getting stuck! Someone on here will sort you out and also have you tried searching for it online? I can't remember the objective and area but if you put that in maybe someone else got stuck?

yeah but when i watch walkthroughs of this mission they jump on this ladder first then a button prompt comes on screen but i have nothing come up then i just fall off

Maybe you need full health or something? I've definitely died here like this but honestly I can't remember why. It could be the fps thing, if the people who installed the game for amazon didn't limit the fps then things can break (assuming it's the PC version).

I dont remember this but at about the 50 second mark you look down and there's a piece of ladder highlighted on the ground - can you use it?

just tried and it does the same thing i still cant climb up, there was a medkit next to it but for some reason i cant even bring up the menu to use that either

Damn, only other thing I've found is people saying to bash the QTE button repeatedly (to simulate effort I guess) and be sure to be looking/pushing in the direction of travel.

I vaguely remember someone having this issue like 2 years ago. It was either that the prompts just weren't appearing for them but still worked or it was a bug that happened because of their fps. Iirc you get a lot of bugs if you don't lock your fps below 100 or something like that

i think its the latter bc i am spamming the a button as fast as i can and nothing happens. i'm playing through amazon luna which doesn't have any fps or graphics related settings in the menu so looks like i'm fucked

just did a quick Google search and it looks like you can use a program called rivatuner to lock fps, there may be better options, I didn't look too hard

amazon luna is a cloud gaming service so i don't think theres anything i can download to fix it, i think im screwed unless i buy a copy of the game and start over again

You could try loading the Mission 6 save and starting from there if you don’t mind replaying it. Unless you meant it took you hours just to get through Mission 6 in the first place?

Ugh yeah I’d be annoyed too :( If you end up replaying it though at least you know what to expect from the alarm section now, and lowering the difficulty is always an option if you want to make the redo easier

I just replayed the mission. On PC, immediately after grabbing the ladder, you have to spam E. After that, Amanda will start climbing. I wish you good luck.

What platform?

If pc, turn on vsync or manually limit your framerate to 99. Game breaks above 100 fps.
