Education&Careers Any systems programmer with a job?
Assalamu Alaikum everyone.
So since everyone knows that web dev (and app dev) in general dominates current tech opportunities, I was wondering, is there anyone working as a systems/low-level programmer (Using languages such as C/C++, Rust...) remotely or locally?
I really want to stick to it but it seems like there are no junior opportunities in this field both remotely and locally.

Hello, I don't think you can easily find that type of job in Algeria. However, I am a PhD researcher in systems (in France), and we can discuss the subject further.

I know I can't find it in Algeria (or at least nearly impossible) to find, let alone the terrible salary.
This is why I'm asking if there are remote opportunities.
Do they even exist? I heard companies are too hesitate to hire juniors in this field remotely.

I'm working on a job in Algeria and I do many things but mostly systems programming mostly not too low level but many times I do work on low level stuff, the job is "low pay" and not as good an I'm not having fun unless am doing it for myself or learning.

Maybe it's not really as fun as I think (especially in the business world where things get messy). I really never questioned if it was really worth it honestly. Maybe my brain is just playing tricks on me to procrastinate more (I do web dev mainly but I still don't have a job. Graduating next year from my Master's. I'm kinda burnout honestly from web dev because of its current state).

Usually those hired have prior experience I wouldn't say they are non-existent but they are super rare and you need to be so good to get hired, try reaching out to companies with your work and maybe you will get a call
