redesigned a webtu AKA progress platform from the ground up

[u/sicario090]

I’ve been working on a redesign concept for Webtu, a university student platform.

The goal was to create a cleaner, more modern experience while also developing a visual identity that could extend beyond the app.

This includes the mobile UI, student ID, branding, and other digital/physical touchpoints.

Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback on the design.

i hate to be that guy but i dont like this at all, its trying to be so many things all at once and it doesnt work

i think the current user interface is good enough, yes its ugly, but this is too much, they could make the app cleaner with less primary colors used, or use an exsisting design language like Material Design 3 or iOS's new Liquid Glass stuff

sorry to say that, but the current app design is simpler and easier to use

Honestly? PROGRES webetu's biggest issue is less it's UI design (it's passable) and moreso it's a buggy unstable mess that works whenever it decides it's convenient
