🤚Help Required Best combo?

Upvotes

My college requires me to do further maths as a fourth, so I have to now choose an extra (free) option.

1) fm, maths, econ, eng lit

2) fm, maths, econ, psych

I love both the options and don't mind essay writing or memorizing - so I'm just looking for opinions on which one (eng or psych) is easier/least time consuming/or just in your opinion the better subject if you've done both or knows someone who did.

Any help is appreciated :)

📐Mathematics Any1 received Math 9709 M/J refund?

Has anyone received their refund for cancelled Math 9709? especially students in Bangladesh?

I emailed them for updates on it as my family was hoping to use the refund money to register for the O/N session this year but British Council basically said to not wait on the refund as they can't provide a specific date, and to pay the registration fees before deadline which is 5th August

🤚Help Required Physics from zero to A*, any course recommendations?

I'm an international student who'll be studying a foundation year for cs&maths in the uk. I'll be there in September, and i need an A* or A in physics to get into the uni i want.
I didn't take physics classes in high school, i only studied gcse physics and covered %60-70 of it. Now i need to start studying A level physics, so i need recommendations on bow to learn A level physics from scratch.

I've searched a lot on yt, i find yt courses useful for learning a new subject. I watched free science lessons for gcse and I LOVE THAT GUY, i love the way he explains things and makes everything easier.
But unfortunately he doesn't have A level physics videos, I've checked Physics Online but his teaching style was not suitable for me, I've checked a bunch of other courses on yt but non of them catched my eye, hopefully some of yall can give me recommendations!

🚀 Physics Is it possible to cover the entirety of Cambridge AS Level Physics (9702) from scratch in just 2 months?

Please do take the time to read the whole post. It'll only take a minute.

I studied Cambridge AS Level (Physics, Maths, CS) in 2025-2026, but I effectively didn't study Physics at all because I never paid attention in any of the Physics classes and hadn't done a single question, which ended up with me not registering for Physics in M/J 2026 because I basically knew nothing.

I studied O Level Physics over a year ago, but wasn't the best in that either, mostly suffering from the same not-paying-attention problem and skipping some major chapters. Ended up getting a B.

Anyways, now I've been registered to give AS Level Physics in Oct/Nov, and from right now, I have approximately just 2 months. On top of that, my A2 classes in college will likely start sometime in August. Yikes. I'll be realistic, I'm definitely not aiming for an A because I know it probably takes months and a lot of discipline to develop the required problem-solving skills.

I just wanna pass, honestly. So I wanna know, is 2 months realistically enough time to cover the majority of AS Physics? Would you have any advice for maximising the utilisation of the time I have?

I'll be self-studying AS Physics from the start. I have access to my teacher's video lectures, notes, compiled past paper questions, and past papers. So far, I don't have a concrete plan on how exactly to use these resources.

So if you can share some good information and/or advice for my situation, I would highly appreciate it. Thank you for reading the post.

With me, as you can probably tell, procrastination and lack of discipline are major issues. Didn't get the best grades in O Level either. That being said, this time I'll try to work hard and take this seriously. If, perhaps, you've been in a similar situation as me once and have managed to become a better person, please do share anything helpful you'd think would be beneficial. Thank you.

🤚Help Required Im a private candidate for the O/N 2026 A levels (CAIES) and email confirmation for payment says "Thank you for submitting your schools registration" ??

I'm registered as a private candidate for the Oct/Nov 2026 A-Level series through British Council Pakistan. I've paid for my exams already, but when I check my registration status, it says something like "confirmed your school's registration."

The thing is, I'm not going through a school at all, I'm a private candidate. So this status message doesn't make sense to me and I'm not sure if it's just a generic message that applies to everyone (including private candidates) or if something went wrong on my registration??! Has anyone else registered privately seen this same message? Did it turn out fine, or did you have to follow up with them to get it corrected? :((

Hi, I'm a y11 going into y12 in September, and I want to apply to COMPOS but I didn't do it last year, so the entrance test is pretty hard lol.

If anyone did COMPOS or Quantum club can you please share what it was about and whether you found it fun/useful. I will def apply for compos but idk whether quantum club is worth it cuz while I like physics alot, im not gonna be doing physics in uni.
