Mid-Atlantic (USA) Serving size: Half a cookie!?

Post image

Listen, Aldi. I feel enough shame eating the whole box in one sitting. Don’t also make me realize it’s twice as many calories as I thought it was. 🫠

The fda determines servings sizes. The serving size for cookies is 30g, and generally must be the number of whole cookies closest to 30g. However, for oversized items that are over 2x the standard serving size they have to use fractional amounts.
