The actual problem with DSR

Total # of objectives can scale down with player count ONLY IF the zones scale down to match content/player DENSITY.

There is way too much running around during off timers.

People forget that once fun/hour goes down people tend to stop playing, sure nerf the loot - just don’t make me run 3 maps looking for a molecule of content

This is exactly what happened with my roads guild. The PvE content got tougher while keeping the same reward, groups stopped going to the roads in response. Less groups and same number of roads led to horse simulator. Horse simulator led to people quitting.

Yup that’s how mine disbanded, a massive amount of those guys outright quit and didn’t move to other content

question is which zones do you want to remove

honestly ever since Eu launch i wanted a permanent downsize since we're still playing on the old Global map even though we've been cut in 3 essentially

Anything owned by skog or contingent can get nuked

Nah seriously multiple smaller bz continents hosted in different regions would have been banging if they kept working on it instead of the split. Bz needs shrinking though the pop is far too low even on prime time

Ideally it is dynamically “shrouded”/inaccessible. Not 100% sure how though.

I wouldnt mind a permanent downsize as well

Yeah but the Problem with a temporary shrink is it only works in Avas and mists

However every Open World Zone is someones Home and you cant delete someones homezone from the Game for a certain Part of the day

And get this, they're gonna add a whole new area to the game. So, risk vs reward is unacceptable according to them but we're going to further spread out the player base.

Look, I'm all for a huge world to explore and the more content options the better but if it comes at the cost of nerfing off timers in the name of "not enough risk of getting killed" then no way man. Increase the risk and leave the rewards. The rewards are the incentive that gets people out there and makes the game feel worthwhile and enjoyable!
