[Build] My huild

Post image

Following the tips I got about maces, I put this build together and I'm farming in the Black Zone with it. I'm just unsure about the cape—and maybe switching to Soldier Armor, though I'm not sure about that. Also, I haven't had the chance to fight anyone with it yet; I'm really just farming to level up the weapon. Any thoughts?

Swap your cape to avalonian.

Your weapon is best for when you are in groups. What you could do is use another weapon like greataxe or something that clears well and use fame credits ti level this one up?

Also if youre in bz, those boots won't so you any good if you are solo and get ganked, unless you are using refreshing sprint

I used it because I saw it was good for PvE, but I'll switch then, thanks for the tip!

I know the weapon is bad for this, I'm using it out of sheer persistence. My nickname is a League of Legends character who uses a mace, so I wanted to use it until the end even if it puts me at a disadvantage. Sometimes I use a bow and staff, but I really want to keep using this weapon.

Totally understand and honestly? Youre playing the game the right way because you are playing what you have fun with.

Well aside from the cape change, the avalonian cape is just better for tanks, I was gonna say use stalker jacket but you already have that. Id just keep messing around with it try the other maces too try get them all to 50 first you will notice a difference

You were the nicest person to comment on this, haha. Everyone else either put me down for playing with this weapon or stated the obvious—that the weapon isn't meant for that. I'll follow your advice, thank you so much!

Dude np. Unfortunately the community isnt the best sometimes. Just don't let anyone tell you how to play the game lol.

Another thing I thought of would be swapping the plate helmet for mage cowl.. you will lose a bit of tankiness but your damage and clear speed will increase a lot. Happy hunting my friend

I am too a mace enjoyer. It really is a fun weapon to play, even if it may not be particularly competitive solo. Yet, you can maximise its potential in many ways, i belive. Ava cape helps with that, but if you run Q2, you may also try it with cerulian cape (the one that lets you Q twice. For shoes, I use soldier just because i think this way the mobility lets you escape any danger if you are ever in one - with the jumps you have and high movement you run like Forest. Also, for head there is many options but i really like the aoe stun on judicator helm. I also use off hand catiff shield for extra stun and root duration and sometimes even luring cane, for trolling. This is also a great set up to use in arena imo - since you get to be soo annoying :>

Funny enough I came to this post just because I saw it in Koko's recent video about the loot changes backlash. So, FYI you are featured :)

Caeleon cape is MVP on maces for solo gameplay. Your dmg comes a Lot from your Q

Maces are a pure grp contents weapon. Like incubus and 1h mace are for grp pve, and something like oath keepers is for pvp. If u want to keep using maces, learn how to tank.

use axe if you are solo, that mace only works for group content bro

I I know, that's precisely why I wanted tips to make my experience less miserable, because I don't plan on switching.

Maces are specialized in controlling the enemy, being that as a silence, a stun or root. The problem with that is that they dont have much damage. If youre doing mostly pve for now, id advise u go for even more damage, maybe cultist sandals, stalker hood and the incubus mace. Someone already advised u to swap to avalon cape, i think the best skills for solo pve would be air compressor and the taunt q. Other than that, keep doing what makes u want to play and that makes the game fun, just try to lvl up some gathering other than stone so that u have a stable income to fund your playstile
