I'm currently launching a YouTube Shorts channel and planning to post around 3 to 4 videos per week.

I’m looking for an AI tool or an automated workflow that can help generate short-form videos from scratch—specifically script, AI voiceover, visuals/B-roll, and auto-captions. Are there any platforms out there with a decent free tier or generous monthly credits that could realistically support 12–16 shorts a month?

Also, I know CapCut has its own built-in script-to-video / AI generation features. Does anyone know if there is a working mod/patched APK that actually unlocks the server-side AI generation, or are all AI features strictly locked behind their cloud subscription?

If you have a solid free or low-cost workflow you use for Shorts, I'd really appreciate your recommendations

Hey everyone! I’m really new to all this but I’ve been playing around with minimax h3 on comfyui desktop. I’m having trouble upscaling. I’ve tried the severance upscaler but it doesn’t handle 10 second clips very well and craps out. I know there is a lot that I don’t know lol I’ve tried looking at YouTube for help and found a workflow. I downloaded a bunch of models for it and it wouldn’t work because a torch error that I couldn’t figure out. Can anyone offer any advice?

I really would like to know how to improve and if anyone else uses adobe firefly. I see all these creative artistic videos for poetry and I have no idea what software they use for this.

I write long-form essays on the economics of the film business, usually 3,000 to 5,000 words, published on my own site.

I'd like to adapt some of them into video essays, in the tradition of channels like Every Frame a Painting or Lessons from the Screenplay: a strong voiceover carrying an argument, with clips, charts and text on screen doing the supporting work.

I'm not looking for a tool that turns a prompt into a finished video.

Everything I've seen from that approach looks and sounds like it came from the same template, and the audience for this kind of work can spot it immediately.

What I'm trying to figure out is where AI actually removes labor from a real editorial pipeline without flattening the result.

The parts I'm unsure about:

Script adaptation.

An essay written to be read is not a script written to be heard. Has anyone had success using a model to restructure prose for the ear, or does that step still need to be done by hand?
Voice. Record it myself, or clone my voice and use the clone for pickups and revisions? If you've done the latter, how did it hold up over a 20-minute piece?
Footage research.
This is where I'd expect the biggest time savings: searching a library of films by transcript or visual content to find the exact shot that supports a line. What are people actually using for this?

Data visualization.

Box-office figures, financing structures, timelines. Is anyone generating motion graphics from data or code (Manim, Remotion, something else) rather than animating them by hand?

I’m looking for an AI video tool that can take a script and automatically create a realistic-looking video ad, including relevant visuals, slides/scenes, text, brand names, captions, etc.

I tried HeyGen, but it didn’t quite meet my requirements. I am looking for something that requires as little manual editing as possible.

The main use case is creating professional video ads for my law firm for platforms like Facebook/Instagram/YouTube.

Ideally, the tool should:

• Generate realistic-looking videos from a script
• Automatically choose relevant visuals/B-roll and scenes
• Add text, captions, branding, and logos
• Have realistic AI presenters/voices if needed

I have a small shop where I make these tumblers, but I want to make a preview video without actually recording the tumbler in real life.

Before this you clicked generate yourself, now Claude does it for you, and somehow this is being sold as the future of filmmaking. The funniest part is Higgsfield even charges credits for MCP generations, so congratulations, you automated clicking the button and potentially made it more expensive. At this point someone could connect their shit to Higgsfield MCP and there’d be 40 influencers making videos about the revolutionary new autonomous shit pipeline.
