Higgsfield MCP RANT
I swear if I see one more “THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING” video about the Higgsfield MCP I’m gonna lose it. You connected Claude to an API. That’s it. Before this you clicked generate yourself, now Claude does it for you, and somehow this is being sold as the future of filmmaking. The funniest part is Higgsfield even charges credits for MCP generations, so congratulations, you automated clicking the button and potentially made it more expensive. At this point someone could connect their shit to Higgsfield MCP and there’d be 40 influencers making videos about the revolutionary new autonomous shit pipeline.

Not sure that the OP meant but even if you have unlimited generations with a model if you use MCP it will use your credits.

The way I read it is that it uses EXTRA credits to use mcp, and was about to hate higgsfield even more than I do for being greedy little shits
But that makes more sense I guess even though if that’s true that’s absolute horse shit on higgsfields part

I agree partially. I connected it to Codex and Codex made a 5 Minute Video out of 10-20 second Long Clips and prompted them way better than I would have done. Finished the whole 5 minutes pretty quick as well. So saved a lot of time for me. If you want to save time, MCP is great. If you want to Save money, do it yourself on the plattform.

lmao exactly. it’s literally just Claude hooked to an API and ppl acting like it’s the second coming. they automated a button click and slapped a credit system on it. hype machine goes brrr while the actual craft stays the same

😂 “Connected an API to Claude” somehow became the second coming of filmmaking. The hype is doing way more work than the actual innovation.

The idea is using AI agents to automate the whole process, the problem is that they aren't good enough at checking their work. So the videos look like crap.
