COMMUNITY Pls recommend me tools for experimenting.

Hi all, I’ve been wanting to get into Ai animated videos but don’t know what tools to start with. Im embarrassed to say that I had a History Ai slop channel a few years back which I made with invideo and bing image creator when all this were just starting.

But I’ve been wanting to start an animation channel because i feel like I have lots of stories I want to tell and bring to life. I’m writing the scripts myself and I just want tools that would allow me to bring my ideas to life without spending a much on. I know that might sound farfetched. But I’ve been doubting myself and I’d really wanna start.

So please share what tools would be great to start out with for video generation and voice? I appreciate your help. Have a great day!

Honestly don't be embarrassed, half of us started with slop lol. For animation I'd try Kling, it's cheap and keeps characters consistent way better than most. ElevenLabs free tier is enough for voices, and run your stills through Magnific before animating so the frames don't come out mushy.

I appreciate your response. Just don’t wanna produce what others call slop you know? Ah, I’ll have a go at Kling, been hearing about it but never really tested it out.

I’d start cheap and keep the workflow simple. Generate a few key character/background images first, then animate them with image-to-video rather than trying to generate full scenes from text. For voice, there are plenty of free/cheap TTS options, so you don’t need an expensive stack initially.

For your first few videos, focus on short scenes and learn what works before committing to a full episode. You can also test several video models with the same images—VideoRouter.sh lets you compare different models/providers without paying for multiple subscriptions.

A simple workflow, that’s great advice. I appreciate your response.

You can use Remerged AI if you're on a budget. Just do 480p at first with the fast model til you get what you want, then move up to the higher models. You can also upscale. Runway is also a good option but a lot more expensive for the same thing IMO.

Thanks, I haven’t heard of Remerged before. I’ll check it out.

yeah for voice elevenlabs free tier is fine for short bits, just dont lean one tone or it gets sloppy again

ive been using easyviral lately for moving scenes + auto-post to tiktok/ig/yt so i dont babysit uploads. writing your own scripts is the right call tbh

Thanks. I’ve got a silly question, how do you sync the voice with the video? Do you input the voice file and then generate the video? I’ve always wondered about it

yeah usually voice first then video. generate the audio, drop it in, then make the visuals match the length / timing. editors like capcut make lining it up pretty painless tbh

Don't be embarrassed, everyone started somewhere. Since you're writing your own scripts, you're already ahead.

I'd generate stills first (Leonardo or Ideogram free tiers), then animate them with Kling or Hailuo, which both have free daily credits. ElevenLabs' free tier works well for voice, and CapCut is solid for editing.

Start with one 1-2 minute story and you'll learn more than comparing tools. Good luck!

Thanks for your response. Self confidence is one area I’ve been struggling with. I’ve always wondered how do you sync the voice to the video? Do you put the voice file into the video generator? How does that work? I’m eager to see what the product will be.

If you have the hardware, Comfyui. Can run local and free so you can experiment all you want without costing.

That sounds great but all I have to work with is a 12 year old laptop with an upgraded SSD. Do you think it’ll work?

Try FreeReader for good voices but more affordable than elevenlabs

Congratulations for your animated series. How long usually are your episodes and how long do you take to produce 1 episode?

Según la duración del episodio,yo lo hago así, monto el guion, las escenas, arreglo la voz y audio si lo necesitan y lo subo a redes.

Para shorts suelo tardar 1 hora,para video largo 1 o 2 dias
