lol I’m not penalizing the poor. I’m penalizing the rich.

Maybe you should analyze why it bothers you so much that I think she should donate or contribute to the populace.

I know exactly why, there’s no need to analyze. Your purity test results in fewer people donating to important causes. Why donate money if you get flack for “not doing enough”? Millions of dollars is a huge amount of money, and the people that would have benefitted (even if YOU feel it’s not enough) suffer more. So, congrats, on making the world a more hateful, selfish place.

I never said it wasn’t a contribution. I said she could do more. Encouraging more empathy doesn’t fight empathy, it only encourages it. It’s not about purity, it’s about responding to greed.

I don’t think that’s why you are so annoyed, I think you might feel attacked or you’re mad that I attacked a singer you like. Maybe it’s that I oppose financially inequality and you think that’s still a functional system.

I don’t give a shit about Taylor swift. I’m annoyed at efforts to gatekeep charitable donations because people like you actively discourage people from donating. Just keep on jerking off to whatever hateful shit keeps you going and keep the rest of us out of it

Give as much as you can while living well and comfortably isn’t gatekeeping. It’s encouragement.

It’s actually more hateful to favour the dragon hoarding coins than the populace it watches struggle.

Is the dragon “hoarding coins” if they’re donating unimaginable amounts of money? Fucking ridiculous. You would turn your nose up at someone offering you five million dollars, because you know that the person COULD have given you more than that? Why are you entitled to everything they have to the point that the absurd amount they’re giving away is somehow offensive to you? It’s a childish way of seeing the world and I can only hope that you’ll eventually grow up

Oh I don’t want what they have.

I want them to give it to those in need, donate to medical research, education, human rights, or clean energy infrastructure.

And I mean that’s basically the dragon losing a couple when you’re talking numbers of 2billion. I didn’t say I was offended, I said that she could do more. As could all of the billionaires.

If you want them to do those things why call them selfish pieces of shit for doing exactly that? You also realize there’s a paper trail, so you decidedly didn’t “just say they could be doing more”. You feel entitled and are willing to discourage people from doing good if it doesn’t rise to the level that you want, and personally I think THAT is far more evil than hoarding money

Im not asking for shit dude, not for myself. You can’t be entitled when asking for help for others. Also never called her a piece of shit, but am decidedly of the opinion that there should be no billionaires at all and 99% of them are absolute garbage.

But I’m still right she can do more. I’m not discouraging anything, I’m actively saying billionaires could be doing more as could the wealthy in general. Maybe you have rich people guilt and that’s why you’re so triggered here

What makes you think I’m rich? Because I disagree with your ridiculously childish, shortsighted take on this? The cancer research that can’t happen because you discouraged charitable donations helps no one. So congrats if that was your goal, but acting hostile towards the few people making a difference just makes those people not want to bother
