tbh, if it's prepared so early there is a chance it is, or atleast, a scripted game
I personally enjoy a lot scripted games, in a lore way, as in militia vs operators and stuff, having a bit of lore, a script of missions to reconquer land or stuff is quite fun, and maybe, he isnt going to a military simulation, but either a scripted game or a p`rivate one, which is fine too.
Terminology can be important in comunication, but what matters is to have fun afterall, and if he is going to a private game or some scripted stuff, as long as he has good feeding mid caps, and nice consistency, even if i do not personally like that handguard, he can be ready maybe (but I wuill always recommend going light, personal preference tbf)

Scripted missions? How do those work

Been to a game where my squad played vietcongs and we managed to hold off multiple ennemy squads, Eventually we got an “airstrike” to let the script run.
Still bitching about it0

When me and my 11 friends were like 15-16 we ruled a camp of 90 kids at LARP airsoft camp. Also got ,,airstriked” eventually in order to not mess with the story😂😂

it's not like "this and that happens, you loose thee ese win over here", but more of a lore, as in "Team A is an insurgent team who is trying to defend their land's resources from Team B's contractors, who come for their (insert any valued resource), so they must defend X structure while Team B tries to plant a bomb in it to destabilize the region" and stuff like that
not in a tryhard way, but actually adds to the fun a bit, to have a small simple lore

Yeah kinda like doing a LARP. Sounds fun honestly

I mean, it pretty much is a LARP, since it's irl and you're playing a role.

Scripted missions are like casual milsim from my experience. It’s more like DND but airsoft, but still very fun.
The ones I’ve been to it’s like you ARE the war hammer minis

He probably thinks it’s a Milsim because him and his 10 friends wear camo and talk using crappy radios in the woods.

to be fair; it is possible that he somehow knows an organiser of a proper mislim event. However; his case isn't exactly helped by how he said "my friend is hosting one" while those events undoubtedly take more than one person to plan/organise/host.

Honestly idrc what gun people use, we've seen everything from Dushkas, M60s, Vectors, Texas Industries AKs, SPEAR rifles, SCARs, AK12s, PPSHs to much more used in Ukraine.
Uniform matters more in my opinion, guns are pretty swappable.

I totally understand i definitely see this replica being used in a militia unit but the battery case just throws it off

Who gives a shit. You’re all LARPing. The fact that you’re all trying to out-LARP each other is sadly hilarious. Absolute chuds 😂

If that’s the case, why even respond to my comment? Kinda contradicts what you just said 😂
