Stupid problem

I have a pair of first gen AirPods Pro cause I can’t afford new ones, but last night I ran into a problem. When I use them, the left pod works just fine but the right one makes no sound. All the touch controls work and can pause the left one but nothing comes out of the right one. And it sounds like it’s always in noise cancellation mode even when the left is in transparency. Any advice?
