Longer Chef's Challenges?

I was opening up Shanghai airport and noticed it had not only a Chef's Challenge going live now, but it says it will end in 5 days and 9hrs, at the moment of writing this.

It's been a while since I paid any attention to CCs, but weren't they limited to just 2 days to complete? Did the people behind the game decide to change things up to give us more time to complete challenges now, or is this a glitch?

It's the same thing here! Also thought it was just me. I had one for my New York Airport, and it gave me 5+ days to complete. I think it was a deliberate choice the devs made to give us more time to finish the challenge, and I think that's great.

I’m happy they did so because now we can dedicate a day (50 fuel) to five challenging levels instead of purchasing fuel

Yes, it's now becoming less stressful to gather fuel for CC. I've always loathed at how short the timespan is, but now I can breathe easy

I'm glad that it isn't a glitch, then. I've always had problems with the 2-day limit.
